Israel’s 15th century morality is ignored because it is bad PR. Is this 2007 or 1607?

Sitting in history class when I was younger I often wondered how, just how, such things as slavery and genocide could be justified by racism and bigotry. I wondered how regular people could be so stupid and cruel - and why everyone did not cry out about it. How could human beings chain up Africans, cram them into tiny spaces in boats, force them to be huddled in their own waste - sick, starving and beaten - and then subject them to animal like slavery? I sat in disgust wondering how a government of people intelligent enough to cross and navigate the Atlantic Ocean could be so blind and sick as to reward people with money to murder American Indians and chop off the tops of their heads like trophies.

It is 2007 and we still have indirect slavery, though it can no longer be practiced openly (like selling a car or a horse) like it once was. The age of ethnic cleansing and colonialism is behind us, right? Well, mostly. Most of the world has ended colonial practices from a hundred years ago.

But not in Israel.

As Jimmy Carter put it, “…I equated the ejection of Palestinians from their previous homes within the State of Israel to the forcing on Lower Creek Indians from Georgia land where our family farm was now located; they had been moved west to Oklahoma on the “Trail of Tears” to make room for our white ancestors.”-p27-28 Palestine Peace Not Apartheid.

Worst yet is how the media will not acknowledge this. Average Americans are totally in the dark about Israel’s racial colonies. Most don’t know that Jews and Arabs cannot go to the same high schools or even drive on the same roads. A modern army can attack civilians, sometimes just randomly launching grenades into neighborhoods and sometimes with helicopters shooting rockets into homes and automobiles. And they get away with it without one word of criticism or even acknowledgment from the US Media. Palestinians have their homes demolished and are forced to leave or die, and their homes are then replaced with US paid-for Jew-only settlements (the meaning of the word Jew here being a concept of race not a religion, although it overlaps). However, if you point out this fascism, somehow it is you who is racist - for not supporting the Zionist’s claim that ethnic cleansing is OK because “God” promised all the land of Israel to “His” people the Jews. Never mind Muslims controlling Jerusalem from 1187 to the end of World War One. They even go so far as to tell you Palestine never existed.

What we see in Israel is an occupation that is so horrible that Americans cannot believe it. They reason that if it was really so bad there is no way it would be covered up; that if it was truly an occupation it would be reported on the news. Well it is on the news, just not American news.

The fact that the news can filter reality in this way is very dangerous. This is why the Niger forgeries weren’t revealed. The news won’t reveal this huge scandal because it is a concrete case to show that the government, along with a complicit media, lied (not made mistakes but lied) about Iraq’s supposed Weapons of Mass Destruction.

I always thought, how could things like this happen? How could so many people just not care - and sit there and do nothing? If I lived in the past I would have fought the slave trade, the Nazis, the colonialists, etc. If a person does not stand up to equally horrible injustices being waged today then they can’t claim that for the past. People who support the US backed Israeli occupation would have supported the Nazis, the Indian killers, the slave traders, the inquisition and other government perpetrated injustices . The problem with people is authoritarianism. They do and think what the “news” and the government (authority) tell them to do and think.

Because the US media utterly refuses to explain this issue in any terms other than with out-right deceptions (like they did with the pre-invasion intelligence with the Iraq War), I feel it is necessary for me to spell it out. Israel is not defending itself any more than the US “defended” itself from the Apache Indians. Israel is an aggressive state that, by demolishing homes and murdering civilians, has set up racial colonies outside its legal borders. They wage their aggression under the pretext of fighting militants, while refusing to acknowledge that these “militants” are responding to an illegal military occupation and countless acts of aggression.

Israel has been caught spying on the US through AIPAC by using Larry Franklin, a mole in the DOD (who has already been sentenced to 12 years in jail). It was a group of Israeli “firsters” who formed the secretive Office of Special Plans, which was run from under the office of Douglas Feith and Richard Perle, two Neoconservatives who were authors of the Israeli Clean Break papers submitted to the Former Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu. These policy papers specifically call for a war with Iraq. They state:

“Israel can shape its strategic environment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right — as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions.”

Furthermore, the OSP was the source of the mistaken pre-invasion intelligence on Iraq. I will go farther to say it was more than just mistaken intelligence: we have evidence to prove it was conscious fabrications.

Richard Perle was part of the Zionist think tank known as PNAC, which called for a war in Iraq as a first step in a greater global ambition. PNAC authors included Perle and the likes of Paul Wolfowitz and his former student, Lewis “Scooter” Libby. Libby was Cheney’s former Chief of Staff and OSP member, as well as on trial for the Plame Affair. Libby was a key to taking this cabal down because he had been indicted for ousting a CIA agent (something Perle was in trouble for back in the 70s when he and Wolfowitz worked for Senator Henry Jackson of Washington). It was Libby who wrote the speech about Anthrax attacks that Colin Powell read to the UN. (The anthrax attack on the US, which was blamed on Osama, actually came from a Zionist Jewish Doctor named Philip Zack who was caught on film stealing it from a base in Maryland that he had been fired from). Libby was the the lawyer for the Mossad agent Marc Rich, who was part of Iran Contra as well as the “privitization” of Russia with Gaidar and the Oligarches. It was Libby who was the principle author of the most quoted PNAC paper, “Rebuilding America’s Defenses,” which proposed the need for the “New Pearl Harbor” in order to justify military spending and perpetual war. It was also Libby who used embedded journalists like Miller and Safire to cook up lies about Iraq, and then used the INC as the “sources” for the myths; something Libby and his teacher Wolfowitz had proposed to Clinton in the 90s.

We know that Valerie Plame’s team worked on tracking nuclear weapons proliferation. When she was uncovered so was her front company BJA - and as a consequence so were the other agents using that front. Libby already admitted to being ordered by Cheney and Bush to leak Plame’s information to the press (Judith Miller and Robert Novak). David Wurmser has already admitted that the orders came from Cheney (and for the record Wurmser has also been questioned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for his possible role in leaking U.S. security secrets to Israel). It was air tight case and the trial started January 2007. We all know what happened; Libby was found guilty but then Bush commuted his sentence. One of the men who raised money for Libby's legal defense is none other than Fred Thompson, who is now in the running to become the next president.

The motives for this scramble to blow the CIA agent’s cover were of course to prevent her team from debunking the wild lie about Iraq’s nuclear ambitions, which were based on a crude forgery. The Niger Forgeries are a concrete case for impeachment; it was well known that this “intelligence” was a fraud and yet Bush continued to parrot the fear mongering about yellow cake Uranium in his speeches, well after the CIA knew that the claims were false. It is also a major blow to the MSM - as people have started to wonder why the hell they never reported any of it, but continued to scare and lie to the American people well after they knew what they were saying wasn’t true.

The greater question is who forged the documents? Well, we know who the documents were passed to and we know who made the cover up; the OSP. We also know who revealed Valerie Plame in order prevent her team from undermining the false claims about Iraq’s WMD and alleged purchases of uranium. Her team was monitoring the ATC factions (on paper this would be the American Turkish Council - in reality a lobby for the MIC).

The bogus intelligence, the attempted cover up and the outing of clandestine agents all came from the OSP, which was formed by the same PNAC think-tank members who wrote policy papers for Israel, as well as the US. These players had the same goals, particularly the desire for a regime change in Iraq, which had nothing to do with 911 or the war on terrorism.

Michael Ledeen and Larry Franklin passed the Niger documents to SISMI through their old Iran Contra friends (who ought to be in jail). Through “British” channels they ended up in the US, got rejected by the CIA, but then were mentioned in Bush’s speeches anyway. Interestingly, Larry Franklin (who worked for Douglas Feith and Perle) was also caught spying for Israel when he gave two members of the AIPAC lobby (Steven Rosen and Keith Weissman) top secret documents about Iraq and Iran.

This whole thing was a set up. Cheney told Libby, “go out and lie and fake evidence as much as you want and we’ll get you out of trouble.” More over, you can see from the trial that Russert (NBC), Novak (CNN), Miller (NYT), and Cooper etc were all part of these lies and yet played ignorant. The Pentagon spends millions on fake news and has cherry picked the Zionist reporters who stoop to lying in order to push their agenda.

We can see Israel is still lying about Iran, and that AIPAC shills in congress are parroting the orders of this massive lobby in a pathetic display of plutocracy. I will not support a country that recently invaded Lebanon and purposely targeted civilians, while doing billions of dollars in damage to Lebanese infrastructure.

Israel was the first country ever to use DU (depleted uranium), which kills indiscriminately and even effects unborn children.

They have openly admitted to using DU in Lebanon (it’s in the Israeli papers), as well as using it in cluster bombs and land mines. I do not think that Israel is protecting its security interest by invading nations and committing their own acts of terrorism. The Gaza Strip has been reduced to prison-like conditions, thanks to Israel’s collective punishment and total disregard for international laws.

Israel is openly building what senator Hillary Clinton calls a “security fence,” but is in reality an apartheid wall. First off, the wall (and it is certainly a wall) is not even on the Green line. It is not on Israel’s border; it cuts deep into the West Bank, effectively creating a land grab by cutting off a portion of Palestine from the rest of it. They are sandwiching a swath or territory between the Israeli border and the apartheid wall that is already being peppered with racial/ethnic settlements of religious fanatics who hold the ridiculous belief that “God” gave them the land they are stealing and murdering people to take.

If there is to be security, Israel must first end its brutal occupation and return to the Oslo Accords and the two-state solution. The US is not going to stop aid to Israel because it is too large of a cash-cow for the MIC. However, churches and universities could divest from the companies involved in the occupation - the same way we had a divestment campaign targeting the apartheid state of South Africa. In general, Christians overwhelmingly want to divest from Israel, but the leadership won’t do it because they are making far too much money.

What I am asking of you is to bring the dialog about Israel to the floor and force the issue beyond the pro-Israel mantras and baseless accusations of anti-Semitism. Talk with your family and friends. It is not wrong to oppose people who poison others with DU and who murder an indigenous population for the sake of land supposedly granted by god. It sounds a lot like what the US did to American Indians; killing people for land and claiming it was Manifest Destiny. The US needs to redeem itself of its most regretful and horrible history by supporting the Palestinian people. Contact your reps; they might ignore you but at least give them a guilty conscience.

We do not have to support the militant groups or religious fanatics on the other side either. It is a false paradigm to see only the Zionist and Islamic extremists as options. Plenty of people in both Israel and Palestine stand against house demolitions and want an end to the occupation. There can be no peace so long as there is an occupation.

No country on earth welcomes an invading army that destroys their homes and shoots their children, but Palestine should not react to state sponsored terrorism with terrorism. However, what can you expect from people who don’t even have access to adequate drinking water, and who have been ignored by the international community largely because the US will veto (in solo) resolutions against Israel?

Stop the war and stop aid to Israel. Register AIPAC as a foreign agent and investigate the criminals in the OSP who lied us into a war with Iraq.
This is what we need to tell our congress.

I do not understand those who are anti-war yet pro-Zionist. The reason that the typical American is so in the dark about this issue is because of the US media and its ownership’s relations to the MIC.

PS: today, September 18, Israel shot an unarmed 16 year old boy and then sent tanks into Gaza. Sending tanks into any other nation is an act of war.

It is not going to stop because without the US, in fact against the US the UN is powerless. Israel could bomb Syria and just invent any reason they wanted to and they would get away with it because the media will not touch them. They are too important for the MIC. And NO Israel is not simply being used. One could make the argument that in the 1700s white slave owners in the Americas had slaves for economic reasons and that they just 'used' racism to justify it, but they didn't really believe in it. Oh it was about money alright, but that does not mean they didn't believe in their own rhetoric. They were without a doubt racist. Likewise the profiteers supporting Israel do not just do it because it makes them money. They really do believe in all that Gawd ordained bigorty and thirst for genocide. These people are criminally insane. These men speak of how they would die for Israel and see their crimes not as the sadistic brutalities that they are but as holy and righteous. Arabs are reffered to as animals. The greed as sick as it is is easy enough for rational people to understand, but the religious insanity of it is difficult to imagine, however it is true. Christian Zionists from America will fly to Israel just to pray and spend millions to create good PR for Israel. Some Jewish Americans even move to Israel to become Settlers. Are they just pawns? Well the leadership feels the same way. Some of them are even setlers too just listen to them speak and read what they write. To the Neocons Israel is engraged in their religious world view. They are right no matter what they do because it is part of god ordained destiny. George Bush has even stated he believes he is doing the Lord's work and that his war is a Crusade.
