Libby trial starts this week under dimmer spotlight

WASHINGTON — The perjury and obstruction trial of former White House aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby opens Tuesday amid diminished expectations for bombshells from a case that once dominated Washington headlines.
Save for the expected testimony of Vice President Cheney — a first for a sitting vice president in a criminal case, according to presidential historians — the case against Cheney's former chief of staff has lost some of its appeal. "It's going to disappear into the back pages of the newspaper, with the front pages devoted to Bush's new buildup in Iraq," says Paul Light, a presidential historian at New York University.

Libby, 56, is charged with lying to investigators and prosecutors about what he told reporters about former CIA operative Valerie Plame. Libby has pleaded not guilty.

Plame's identity was leaked to reporters around the same time her husband, former ambassador Joseph Wilson, publicly criticized intelligence used by the White House before the Iraq war.

Special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald launched an investigation in December 2003, months after Plame's name and covert status were first revealed in a syndicated newspaper column by conservative columnist Robert Novak.

Former deputy secretary of State Richard Armitage subsequently acknowledged being Novak's source. He said naming Plame was inadvertent. White House deputy chief of staff Karl Rove also talked about Plame to reporters. Neither man was charged.

Libby is one of the highest-ranking Bush White House officials to be tried, and Cheney's expected testimony has become the case's centerpiece, vice presidential historian Timothy Walch says.

"This is unprecedented," said Walch, executive director of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library. "I think that in part the case is enhanced by the authority and power and prestige that Vice President Cheney brings to his office."

In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Cheney would not say whether he would testify in open court or via videotape.

Cheney described Libby as "one of the finest individuals I've ever known."

Asked whether Libby is honest, the vice president replied, "I believe he's one of the more honest men I know. He's a good man. And I obviously appreciate very much his service on my staff over the years and have very high regard for him and his family."

Cheney's role is crucial for both the defense and prosecution.

Libby has contended he forgot details of his conversations with reporters about Plame because he was so busy with crucial national security matters.

"The defense will try to use (Cheney) to show that there was so much distraction at the time, that they were so busy that whatever (Libby) may have said to the grand jury was a lapse of memory," said Carl Tobias, a law professor at the University of Richmond.

The prosecution plans to show that Libby and the rest of Cheney's office were heavily involved in an effort to discredit Wilson, Tobias said.

The defense's decision to call Cheney will open up possibilities for Fitzgerald in cross-examination. "Who knows where the questions will go," Tobias said.

Libby has long been one of Cheney's key advisers, having worked with him when Cheney was Defense secretary during the administration of the first President Bush. When Cheney became vice president, Libby served as his national security adviser and his chief of staff.

Lawyers for the defense and prosecution could not be reached for comment.

Jury selection is likely to last two or three days. Experts say that despite the publicity surrounding the case, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton will be able to seat a jury with relative ease.

"News cascades in on you so quickly," said Frank Tuerkheimer, a former federal prosecutor and law professor at the University of Wisconsin. "Most people will remember very little, and what little they do remember will be eclipsed by what they hear at the trial."

Jury selection is today it will take maybe two days and the trial begins immediately after that. I am more than ready for this to begin.

Here are my thoughts, Libby is guilty as hell and has no way out of it. He is shooting for a presidential pardon. Now libby in up for 30 year on criminal charges. Rove on the other hand is facing a civil suit. If libby is found guilty and he will be, because he already admitted what he did and David Wurmsor collaberated, there is no way that Rove can wiggle out of his civil suit. Libby may even plea bargin. Now A pardon can not get you off the hook until after your conviction. So if they stretch Rove out until after Bush is gone, then Rove is fucked. If they can't get pardons then they are super screwed because that will force them to turn on others to plea their way out of it and the others are Cheney and Bush themselves. That is what will happen thus practically forcing the pardons. AIPAC will be last. Fitzgerald knows what he is doing and how the Niger forgeries are the bigger question. The trial makes all the information that we know anyway and that is in my book, part of public record and there are about 50 things in it that would serve for impeachment and jail time for creating things like the OSP and giving the pentagon NSA powers etc. We got evidence of the ZIonists trying to fix a war with Iraq going back to the 90s and we know that Israeli generals were meeting with Wolfowitz and Feith without even getting clearance. The Israelis were basically running the pentagon and Perle picked up the ball after Wolfowitz was moved to the world bank. It's all in my 911 blog.
Libby was a lawyer himself so it will be interesting.

There is no surprise as to why the MSM had ignored this. Get a load of CNN's Wolf Blitzer defending Zionism. That would be why there is Zero mention of the AIPAC spy ring case. I mean at least the LIbby trial has been in papers and had maybe 11 seconds of news on TV.

Ok the Libby trial opening arguments begin on Monday. Libby is going to try and say that he didn't "lie" about when he knew Plame's idenity and that just all these other things the war they had to rig, terrorists to blame, Iran and North Korea just made him forget when he knew about Plame.

My question, why the F did he ever know about Plame? Oh that's right they goofed on the Niger forgeries and had to ruin Wilson and Plame in order to salvage their lies about WMD.　So of course the OSP knew who she was and leaked the information to journalist moles in the NY Times and on CNN. Its all one Zionist network.

the trial of Dick Cheney-Justin writes another wonderful article about the Libby trial.

The opening statements in the trial of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby struck official Washington like twin thunderbolts, opening up a huge fissure in the Bush administration at the same time that everything else – the security situation in Iraq, the Republican Party, the president's approval rating – is falling apart at the seams. With Scooter under fire from federal prosecutors and caught in a furious fusillade of mutual recriminations, what it all augurs is the final collapse of the War Party.

The defense fired off its big guns on the first day, with Libby's lawyer, Ted Wells, rebutting Patrick J. Fitzgerald's contention that Libby had a motive to lie because the president had declared that anyone who leaked would be fired. (I note here that I'm citing not the "mainstream" media's account of the proceedings, but that of a blogger who has gained entry to the trial as a reporter, the anonymous "Emptywheel," whose reportage on the background of this case is surely one of the investigative wonders of the blogging world):

"Mr. Libby was not concerned about losing his job. He was concerned about being set up. He was concerned about being the scapegoat.

"Mr. Libby said to the VP, 'I think the White House people are trying to set me up, people want me to be the scapegoat. People in the White House want me to protect Karl Rove.' …

"Cheney made notes of what Libby said. Notes show Libby telling the Vice President that he was not involved in leak. …

"Cheney's note: 'Not going to protect one staffer and sacrifice the guy that was asked to stick his neck in the meat grinder because of the incompetence of others.'

"The person who was to be protected was Karl Rove. Karl Rove was President Bush's right hand person. Karl Rove was the person most responsible for making sure Bush stayed in office. He had to be protected…."

But who, exactly, is being set up here? Surely not just Libby, but also Libby's boss. Libby is named in the indictment, yet it is the vice president who is really on trial here, as the prosecutor's pretrial tactics and opening statement make clear. After all, it wasn't just Scooter out there on his own planting stories in the media discrediting Ambassador Joe Wilson, implying that he'd been sent to the African nation of Niger on a "junket" at the behest of his wife, CIA agent Valerie Plame. Behind Libby stood the shadowy figure of the vice president, directing the action from an undisclosed location. Yet the trial of his former chief of staff threatens to disclose his location at the very center of the conspiracy to "out" Plame.

Libby's defense is (1) Rove did it, and he, Libby, is a "sacrificial lamb," the fall guy for the White House, and (2) he had no reason to lie about the Plame matter, that this was at the extreme periphery of his concerns, and, in "recalling" how he came upon the information that Plame was in fact a CIA agent, he simply failed to remember with any degree of accuracy because of all the weighty matters that he had to deal with in his capacity as chief of staff at the OVP.

Fitzgerald, for his part, will show that this is simply not the case, that the Plame matter was one of Libby's central concerns, and that both he and Cheney could almost be said to be obsessed with Wilson's accusations that the administration was cooking the intelligence to fit a preordained conclusion.

In his opening statement, Fitzgerald drew a portrait of an administration under increasing pressure to explain the provenance of the intelligence that fooled Congress and the American people into going along with the decision to invade and occupy Iraq. One key part of this intelligence was contained in the infamous "16 words" of Bush's 2003 State of the Union address: shortly after the address was delivered, however, it came out that the story about Saddam seeking uranium in Niger was completely bogus and the documents supposedly backing up this tale had been forged. Yet the White House had been stuck with this tar baby and couldn't get rid of it. Questions about the "16 words" were being asked, uncomfortable questions, and the White House was having a hard time answering them: finally, they issued a statement admitting – for the first time ever! – that they had been wrong. In the end, George Tenet took the fall – but, then again, he hadn't been the source of the "16 words." So where did these allegations come from?

In the meantime, however, other questions began to be raised, such as: who forged the Niger uranium documents? The forgeries, after all, were fairly crude, which is what enabled IAEA scientists to quickly debunk them using Google. Who was trying to lie us into war using such transparently dubious methods?

Someone had pulled a fast one on the president – but who? It had to have been someone fairly high up. Or else how had such garbage made it onto the president's desk?

The CIA triggered the investigation into how and by whom Plame and her operation were exposed, but it seems likely the probe might have been an outgrowth of a broader counterintelligence investigation into the entire affair, including the provenance of the Niger uranium allegations. If this could be traced back to the OVP, where so much of the bad "intelligence" originated, then that would explain the peculiar intensity of Scooter's determined campaign against the Wilsons.

This president went to war on the strength of allegations that later turned out to be completely wrong. There were no WMD, no links to al-Qaeda, and no real chance that anything remotely approaching a liberal democracy could take root in the country once it had been "liberated" from the Ba'athist grip. They knew all this, yet they went ahead and did it anyway – or, at least, that's the strong impression the American public is getting. A full 58 percent believe the Bush administration deliberately misled Congress and the people on the WMD question.

Yet the great bulk of the ersatz intelligence came from the vice president and his cronies. Scooter's trial is payback time for the Bush loyalists, who – rightly – feel betrayed. Feelings of betrayal are not limited, however, to the president's camp, as Libby's lawyer made clear in his opening statement. Poor Scooter, the "sacrificial lamb" – he's taking the fall for his boss, who is really the one on trial here.

Cheney is appearing as a witness for the defense, and his cross-examination by Fitzgerald promises to be one of those epic moments when truth is spoken to power. Cheney's role in all this, as the behind-the-scenes manipulator of intelligence and master leaker of classified information, is going to be exposed for all the world to see. What remains to be seen is whether this classic confrontation will result in yet more indictments, and investigations, into matters not covered in this trial. Fitzgerald, you'll remember, once compared Libby's obstruction of the investigation to throwing sand in the investigators' faces so that they couldn't see who had exposed Plame or why. Yet this trial may go a long way toward clearing the air, so that finally investigators – perhaps Fitzgerald himself – can see their way to filing new charges, and not only against Libby.

This trial goes to the very heart of key questions now vexing the American public, the answers to which threaten – or promise – to change the face of our politics: how did we wind up in the middle of a civil war in Iraq? Who lied us into war? How did they do it – and why did they do it? Before this trial is over, we may well have some pretty strong clues as to the answers.

Now that the Middle East democratization-by-force-of-arms project is sinking fast, the rats are deserting the ship with unseemly speed, and it's every rodent for himself. The neocons, if they aren't repudiating their past views, à la Fukuyama, are repudiating Bush. He didn't put enough troops in, his "surge" isn't big enough, he's holding back from attacking Syria and Iran – instead of going "faster, please!" as one neocon ideologue puts it. To hear the neocons tell it, the president's crusade to "liberate" the Middle East from itself has stalled, due not to the limitations of American military power, but to a lack of presidential will. Their strategy of preemptive aggression didn't fail, the neocons claim: this president failed.

I hate to say I told you so, but I did tell you so:

"The neocons who ginned up this war and committed crimes in the process have no loyalty to party, or even to ideology. Always single-minded in pursuit of their objective – war in the Middle East – they latched onto the GOP solely as a matter of convenience, and never bet all their chips on one party or the other. They have no more personal loyalty to George W. Bush than an intestinal worm has to its host. Less, as a worm infestation rarely leads to death, while this plague of neocons spells real trouble – both legal and political – for the Bushies and the Republican Party, both of which stand to be discredited in the eyes of the voters – and of history – for a long time to come."

Oh, and one more thing: all that pretrial talk about a presidential pardon for Scooter seems pretty silly now that his lawyers are aiming their main fire at the White House. It seems the Libby defense team is employing what I have called the "Samson option" – and that means the beginning of a vicious civil war within the War Party, with the Bush loyalists on one side and the neocons – nested in the OVP – on the other, with each trying to blame the other for the various debacles that have befallen this administration and now seem to be culminating in a veritable tsunami of ill tidings for the GOP.

With the defection of Sen. John Warner and several other GOP big-hitters from the ranks of the pro-surge Republicans, the civil war inside the GOP – and the conservative movement – is going full blast. The neocons are desperately fighting to retain control over policy – particularly Iran policy – but their grip is loosening, and this trial may pry their fingers from the big prize, i.e., the vice president's office.

When this scandal first came to light, I asked the following:

"If Libby is implicated as having anything to do with Plame's 'outing,' then that, in turn, implicates Cheney, who must take responsibility. The vice president's resignation, under these circumstances, is a distinct possibility. Will we soon hear an announcement that he's retiring 'for health reasons'?"

The only problem with this quasi-prediction was the word "soon" – we've had to wait over three years to come to the point where Cheney himself has come under increasing scrutiny, yet finally the day of reckoning approaches.

In answer to all those who have written me, over the years, disdaining my hope that this trial would ever reveal anything about the inner workings of the War Party and their crimes, claiming that "they" would put a stop to it before anything of value saw the light of day, I have to say: you were wrong. The republic is not doomed: its defense mechanism is working, even if it took a while to rev it up.

So pull up a chair, kick back, and get out the refreshments: it's not just Scooter and his boss who are in the dock. The War Party is on trial in Judge Walton's courtroom, and the odds are damn good that they'll get the verdict they so richly deserve.

Love this but had a couple disagreements

Something they missed is that Bush cannot pardon Libby now because you cannot pardon someone until AFTER they are convicted. Also come on guys Feith's office (the OSP that fed the OVP) was meeting with Israeli generals. Libby was the lawyer for a Mossad agent (Marc Rich) and a co-PNAC author. We now which intelligence agency sent this bogus shit to the president and I do not think Bush was mad, I read Tenet's book and I think Bush knew it was a lie. He said I didn't care and said to just give him an excuse, we know that from the DSM too. What pissed him off is that the lie was traceable so Cheney and Libby when on the warpath to cover it up. And Rove is not off the hook he is still facing a civil suit.

Now the bigger connection is that BJA 's team with Plame were tracking U and monitoring Iran and those are the same documents that AIPAC stole with their mole in the DOD. We know that Feith and co were more than willing to give Israel anything anyway so that means the DOD was swiping things from the CIA. And THAT is what AIPAC took. And I already explained like a year ago on my radio interview why I think they ousted Plame...

Wilson said the whole time that Saddam was NOT getting yellowcake from Niger. They had to shut him up because the OSP had already lied about WMD calims and given the BS to Bush via the OVP. So Cheney, Rove, and Libby were freaking out.

Judith Miller Takes the stand.

Judith Miller the she-devil from the New York Times that printed Neocon lies in the paper, most notably the whopper about Iraq acquiring aluminum tubes, took the stand and got questioned in the Libby Trial today.

If you need to refresh your memory go here that is something I wrote back in 2005.


Miller was the NY Times reporter that Leaked Joe Wilson's wife Valarie Plame's name to the public thereby blowing Valaries CIA cover as well as her front company BJA which was also fronting for her team which was responsible for tracking nuclear weapons proliferation and gathering intelligence on Iran.

They go back and forth when Miller was asked if she could remember any of her sources for the identity of Plame other than Libby. (remember that she never told on Libby either, he cracked after Miller spent 85 days in jail, and fessed up. Maybe Bush promised him a pardon) They had a break and an argument over if this question was even allowed.

The judge is going to sleep on his decision to allow wider questioning about Miller's notes or not. He will probably allow Jeffress to question her about other sources related to Wilson and Plame but limit it to that. Apparently they (the neocons Libby, Cheney, and Miller) thought that Wilson's Op-Ed (which said Iraq was NOT getting yellow cake or WMDs from Africa) was impossible unless he connection to Intelligence (which he did his wife) however what a ridiculous claim that is when the Niger forgeries were done so poorly even bloggers picked up on it. And it was not just the NIger forgeries it was the amounts that were being said to have been taken which were just ridiculous.

I don't have the quote in front of me but I remember reading how the minister's there said to Wilson no way in Hell that much could go missing etc in essence WTF are you talking about. Now you and I know that the real reason was not the shocker of Wilson's piece letting everyone know the obvious lies about the claims of WMD (which Ritter and many others had already amply done) it was about preventing Valarie's team from uncovering WHO FORGED THE DOCUMENTS. And THAT is the ten million dollar question. (which I and others have given our answers for but the putting is in the proof.) It is all a matter of time before this Israel Cabal comes undone.

funny because I can rewind to the affidavit that Miller signed showing she heard about it from Libby in June. See the above post. Combine that with David Wurmser (who is not in the trial yet) who stated that Libby got his orders from above and then Libby admitting that as well.... Fitz asked Libby what his jobs were (so that the jury will understand what he does) and what level of access he had to intelligence (which would be he has access to Top Secret and Secret Compartmented Intelligence)

Fitz has just established that Libby had the ability to do the crime.

Libby gets busted in a lie. He says that Cheney told him to choose Miller to leak the information to and that it was OK because the information had been declassified. (it wasn't). Then Libby says that he himself chose Miller because he thought she was a responsible reporter.



You know we can sum up where this trial is going right now. This trial has already exposed how dirty the top levels are in the government and how inter mixed they are with the press. The Mass Media is basically an arm of the administration. All of these fools are trying to just claim that they cannot remember where they got their illegal information. What a Crock. We know it came from Libby and Rove through Cheney. They are claiming to have forgotten entire meetings in the case of Miller. It is an embarrassment to America. One thing is sure, everyone has mentioned that they heard about Palme from Libby before the date that Libby said he learned about her. Libby was covering for Cheney because Cheney told him about her in June. There are written records of Libby talking to reporters about it in June. So no matter what, Libby lied about his prior statements concerning when and how he learned about Plame. Now he sudenly remembers the Cheney meeting. I hope looks long at the rest of his life in jail and decided to say screw Cheney and spill the beans on what really happened. Cheney leaked Plames name in order to cover up the secretive OVP/OSP opperation which was lying about Niger in order to start a war with Iraq.

Libby had called Russert to complain about Chris Matthews mentioning the Plame Affiar on Hardball (to my knowledge the only journalist that ever said anything about it). This is how the media works. If any one gets out of line they get a phone call from the administration. Russert, Miller, Cooper, Novak, they are all journalist working for the administration playing the oh I forgot card.

Libby tried to say he forgot that he got his information from Plame. Gee he must have forgotten this too where he admitted that Bush and Cheney authorized the leak as reported by the BBC. you see you have to get out of American nerws to get any coverage of this.

April 2006 Libby fessed up to it saying that Cheney gave the order and I have documents in my 911 libby file showing that David Wurmser also pointed the finger at Cheney.

The trial has its closing arguments on Tuesday. Cheney will not testify. The Defense said he would testify which allowed them to ask the Jury questions about Cheney during selection thus weeding out the anti-war majority and then they didn't have Cheney take the stand. This crap was done completely to help rig the jury. The Defense will still lose because Libby and pathedically guilty they can not just claim that he and all the journalist FORGOT where and when they got the information about Plame.

But they will appael and try to drag this out long enough to get a leaving pardon from Bush as Clinton did for Marc Rich the Mossad agent who used Libby as his lawyer for 15 years.

Libby's note, "no one knew this wasn't kosher until we turned over to IAEA." Bull, The International Atomic Energy, the CIA and Joe Wilson, all said that the documents were forgeries. Plus the same song and dance was coming out of DRC which used a fake CIA seal. Then they tried the same lies about Benin. Well the closing arguments are in. Libby is very likely to be convicted.



Could Fitz be aiming to turn Libby on Cheney, the stratagey he used with Conrad Black? Libby will point the finger at Cheney in a heartbeat I am certain. Libby and Wurmser (who was also involved) have both already named Cheney I have the BBC article right here. So as I said in my radio inteviews (even before the BBC article) the Neocons have loyalty to nothing and they will all turn on eachother when pressed with jail time. The Ship is sinking and the underlings do not want to fall on the sword, they are going to turn on the higher ups. Cheney is a marked man.

One would not even know that Libby had a trial were it not few a handful of blogs. Those covering the live trial are, well, not up to my standards. What we have here is the media on trial. Russert, Cooper, Miller, and Novak, were all journalists for the top media in America and all complicit in the government's lies about Iraq. All of them pulled the I can't remember defense and all of them only admit things after they are proven in which case they suddenly remember with great detail but then lapse back into a blank brain when asked to elaborate.

Libby first tried to blame everything on Rove, who has immunity in this trial, however he has a civil case brought on him by Wilson so Libby turning on Rove could serve the public well when Rove has his trial. Then Libby tried to say that he had heard about Plame from journalist painting the picture that they already knew (from Rove the implication is) and that he merely mentioned he had heard about it but did not know if it was true. But that did not fit with the dates where Libby and reporters had signed affidavits admitting they had spoken about Plame much earlier than they tried to say in court. Of course they just backtracked by saying oh oh yeah now I remember. Miller had this ridiculous defense of saying she had note triggered memory so after she saw her name on the paper to things she already admitted she suddenly remembers Everything.

We have news from the British papers where both Libby and Wurmser admit to getting the order to oust Plame from Dick Cheney. David Wurmser told Libby, Stephen Hadley, Rice, and Cheney about Plame setting up Wilson's trip to Niger. Libby then told Rove. Note that it would be Neocondelsleazea Rice who went on CNN with "former" AIPAC employee Wolf Blitzer and announced the monsterous fearmongering claim of not letting the smoking gun be a mushroom cloud.

Remember that Wurmser was a co-author of the Israeli Clean Break paper. Why is this Israeli cabal, which is wrote policy papers for Israel, and who wrote the PNAC think tank papers which called for war in Iraq and the need for a new enemy to justify defense spending, and the need for a New Pearl Harbor to jolt the American public into going along with it, the same people who created the lies about pre-invasion intelligence in Iraq? Also remember that it was Perle and Kissinger who set up Trireme which collects wealth from venture capitalists a specifically invested it in defense companies and Saudi Arabian investment, even while Perle was still working in the DOD!

Why is this same Zionist cabal which frequently met directly with Israeli generals to go over "intelligence" that the CIA had already rejected, the same (Team B) people who were leaking top secret information to AIPAC the Israeli lobby (caught on tape, Franklin has already been sentenced to 12 yeasrs in jail) )which is set to go on trial June 2007 after having its trial date bumped 5 times from over a year ago.

Ler me remind you that the ADL was caught spying and deleting police files in 1993 the same year of the first WTC bombing. Then in 2001 Israel was busted spying on US federal buildings and living next door to Saudi cells of the said hijackers in the well known Israeil Art Student affair which the MSM refuses to report and which even yanked a story from Fox News about the spy ring.

It was also Atta who had reported that his pasport had been stolen in 1999 and whose father claimed was not part of 911, who had his 1999 passport reportedly found close to ground zero! Honestly they want us to believe that Atta's passport (the stolen one not the one he had been using for nearly three years) which is made out of paper, floated down from the inferno which supposedly brought down two skyscrapers, and landed on the ground for the FBI to find and implicate Al Qaeda.

The Israelis had given the US a list of 19 terrorists suspects with no information on what they might do, could this be the same 19 names listed supposedly by Atta who conveniently left it in a duffle back along with other goodies for the FBI to find? Then remember after that all the reports comparing America to Israel on the day of 911 and the reports which called 911 a New Pearl Harbor.

Shortly after 911 the US congress was attacked by Anthrax which also tried to link America with Israel in a global struggle against terrorism. During this event the Partiot Act which had been written prior to 911 and few congressmen had time to even read it, was introduced by the Zionist Cyrpto-Republican Democrat Joe Lieberman. And congress passed it in a panic.

And then came the lies about Iraq. Who could possibly control the media (as we can see from teh Libby trial is just an arm of the government from TV right down to the written press) to the degree where they could be certain that nothing would get out about the ayttacks or about the bogus fabrications used to create a war with Iraq? Well, has the MSM even even mentioned that Palestine is under occupation? No. How did they act when Israel invaded Lebanon? Have they reported on the Israeli spyrings? Did they report the AIPAC spy ring? No. Did they report the Art students spy ring? No, one journalist tried and his story was not only yanked from the air but it was removed from Fox websites as well. (You can part 1 2 3 and 4 here.) Did they report Israel using DU? No. For a furth explanation why, one might want to look at what is behind the media.

Israel is a cash cow for the MIC. Israel can, and knows that it can, literally get away with murder and the American media (Ministry of Propagansda) will not touch it and the American congress will roll over for them. The AIPAC lobby which is not registered as a foreign agent (it claims to be a Jewish lobby [an ethnicity] rather than an Israeli lobby [a nation] even though the "I" in AIPAC stands for Israel) is the most dangerous lobby in Washington.

Senators Hillary and Obama have both grabbed their ankles for the AIPAC lobby and all the front runners for the presidentcy running as Democrats are Zionist shills who each profess the same line as the so called conservatives which is to "keep all options on the table" about Iran, which is what they said about Iraq. We know they want to go to war with Iran and they are merely searching for a pre-text to do it. The US has already sent its carries to the gulf (which obviously has nothing to do with a gurilla war on the ground in Iraq).

When convicted (in a fe days let's hope) he may turn on his fellow Neocons in which case he may suddenly get cancer and die. Libby CONVICTED!

Lewis Libby a co-author of PNAC papers, And OSP member and right arm of Dick Cheney has been found GUILTY on 4 of the 5 charges.

The MSM reported the conviction but told the public nothing about the Niger forgeries or the larger aspects of the trial.

The greater implications of this are stated in the above posts. Let's turn Libby against Cheney and go after Douglas Feith because he is in the cross hairs for the AIPAC trial this June. Like Libby is he guitly as sin too. Chalk one up for Ry. I called this one a LONG time ago. Better still is the way the trial brought out aspect of the media, and pointed the finger at Cheney and Rove and the entire OSP. This is just the beginning. The Neocons are falling apart!

A lot of you are wondering about appeals or a Pardon from Bush. By the time appeals went through Bush would no longer be in office. Libby may choose to give up now and seak a pardon it is his only chance but I doubt Bush will do it and if he does there will be a massive backlash and if he doesn't he will also catch a backlash. Bush doesn't give a dman about Libby or if he goes to jail. These neocons care about nothing but themselves. Bush is too stupid to see what Fitz is planning and he is too full of hubris and too hard headed to listen to anybody who doesn't tell him exactly what he wants to hear.

All of them pulled the I can't remember defense and all of them only admitted things after they are proven in which case they suddenly remember with great detail but then lapse back into a blank brain when asked to elaborate.

Libby first tried to blame everything on Rove, who had immunity in this trial, however he has a civil case being brought on him by Joe Wilson so Libby turning on Rove could serve the public well when Rove has his trial.

Then Libby tried to say that he had heard about Plame from journalists painting the picture that they already knew (from Rove the implication was) about Plame and that he merely mentioned he had heard about it to other journalists but did not know if it was true. But that did not fit with the dates where Libby and reporters had signed affidavits admitting they had spoken about Plame much earlier than they tried to say in court. Of course they just backtracked by saying oh oh yeah now I remember.

Judith Miller had this ridiculous defense of saying she had note triggered memory so after she saw her name on the paper to things she already admitted she suddenly remembers Everything. She even was quoted saying I can't remember what I don't remember. That reminds me of the Jimmy Hoffa trail where he said I don't recollect what I don't recollect.

We know that Libby and Cheney got the information about Plame from Wurmser and it was Cheney who ordered Libby to leak it.
We have news from the British papers where both Libby and Wurmser admit to getting the order to oust Plame from Dick Cheney. David Wurmser told Libby, Stephen Hadley, Rice, and Cheney about Plame setting up Wilson's trip to Niger. Libby then told Rove. Note that it would be Neocondelsleazea Rice who went on CNN with "former" AIPAC employee Wolf Blitzer and announced the monsterous fearmongering claim of not letting the smoking gun be a mushroom cloud.

Remember that Wurmser was a co-author of the Israeli Clean Break paper. Feiths office sent the now known AIPAC spy Larry Franklin down with the super Zionist Michael Ledeen of Iran contra fame, to forge documents about Niger and the DRC with claims of WMD. The big whoopsy was putting the wrong signature on the Niger documents.

Why is this Israeli cabal, which is wrote policy papers for Israel, and who wrote the PNAC think tank papers which called for war in Iraq and the need for a new enemy to justify defense spending, and the need for a New Pearl Harbor to jolt the American public into going along with it, the same people who created the lies about pre-invasion intelligence in Iraq? Also remember that it was Perle and Kissinger who set up Trireme which collects wealth from venture capitalists a specifically invested it in defense companies and Saudi Arabian investment, even while Perle was still working in the DOD!

Why is this same Zionist cabal which frequently met directly with Israeli generals to go over "intelligence" that the CIA had already rejected, the same (Team B) people who were leaking top secret information to AIPAC the Israeli lobby (caught on tape, Franklin has already been sentenced to 12 yeasrs in jail) )which is set to go on trial June 2007 after having its trial date bumped 5 times from over a year ago.

Let me remind you that the ADL was caught spying and deleting police files in 1993 the same year of the first WTC bombing. Then in 2001 Israel was busted spying on US federal buildings and living next door to Saudi cells of the said hijackers. It's a well known fact for people familiar with the Israeil Art Student affair which the MSM refuses to report and which even yanked a story from Fox News about the spy ring.

Then the Israeli Mossad was busted on the morning of 911 filming the event. Why did they have 4,700 dollars stuffed into a sock? Why did their van score a hit with the bomb sniffing dogs? Why did they all fail polyograph tests when asked about 911? And most of all why did the address on their van register for a fake moving company that was a Mossad front?

Now, if there were bombs in the WTC buildings (as physics would suggest) then who was in the buildings during the convenient power outage of security? If it was not a moving company then what was it? Obviously they were moving something alright, they were moving explosive charges.

Now remember that the said lead hijacker who lived next door to the Mossad was found on two occasions to be in two different places at once! It was also Atta who had reported that his pasport had been stolen in 1999 and whose father claimed was not part of 911, who had his 1999 passport reportedly found close to ground zero! Honestly they want us to believe that Atta's passport (the stolen one not the one he had been using for nearly three years) which is made out of paper, floated down from the inferno which supposedly brought down two skyscrapers, and landed on the ground for the FBI to find and implicate Al Qaeda.

The Israelis had given the US a list of 19 terrorists suspects with no information on what they might do, could this be the same 19 names listed supposedly by Atta who conveniently left it in a duffle back along with other goodies for the FBI to find? Then remember after that all the reports comparing America to Israel on the day of 911 and the reports which called 911 a New Pearl Harbor.

Shortly after 911 the US congress was attacked by Anthrax which also tried to link America with Israel in a global struggle against terrorism. During this event the Partiot Act which had been written prior to 911 and few congressmen had time to even read it, was introduced by the Zionist Cyrpto-Republican Democrat Joe Lieberman. And congress passed it in a panic.

And then came the lies about Iraq. Who could possibly control the media (as we can see from teh Libby trial is just an arm of the government from TV right down to the written press) to the degree where they could be certain that nothing would get out about the ayttacks or about the bogus fabrications used to create a war with Iraq? Well, has the MSM even even mentioned that Palestine is under occupation? No. How did they act when Israel invaded Lebanon? Have they reported on the Israeli spyrings? Did they report the AIPAC spy ring? No. Did they report the Art students spy ring? No, one journalist tried and his story was not only yanked from the air but it was removed from Fox websites as well. (You can part 1 2 3 and 4 here.) Did they report Israel using DU? No. For a furth explanation why, one might want to look at what is behind the media.

Israel is a cash cow for the MIC. Israel can, and knows that it can, literally get away with murder and the American media (Ministry of Propagansda) will not touch it and the American congress will roll over for them. The AIPAC lobby which is not registered as a foreign agent (it claims to be a Jewish lobby [an ethnicity] rather than an Israeli lobby [a nation] even though the "I" in AIPAC stands for Israel) is the most dangerous lobby in Washington.

Senators Hillary and Obama have both grabbed their ankles for the AIPAC lobby and all the front runners for the presidentcy running as Democrats are Zionist shills who each profess the same line as the so called conservatives which is to "keep all options on the table" about Iran, which is what they said about Iraq. We know they want to go to war with Iran and they are merely searching for a pre-text to do it. The US has already sent its carries to the gulf (which obviously has nothing to do with a gurilla war on the ground in Iraq).

It was the ADL out of Canada this time, which made up the lies about Iran forcing people to where yellow stars and the MSM bought it hookline and sinker and all of them were reporting that story as if it was a fact. The fact is it was a lie. But that will just get brushed under the rug. CNN was caught faking sattelite photos of Iran's supposed nuclear reactor when they used the same pictures of North Korea's reactor!

PNAC member and co-author of Rebuilding America's Defensess, (RAD) Lewis "Scooter" Libby, is just the tip of the iceberg here. When convicted (in a fe days let's hope) he may turn on his fellow Neocons in which case he may suddenly get cancer and die. This case and all the surrounding relationship to the war in Iraq and 911 have been absoultely ignored by the MSM. It has been reported by bloggers. And That is why the MSM is dying. People want to know the truth.
