Now it's a fact, no balls for our fearless leader....

Let's see now . . .
Ahmadinejad accepts an invitation to speak at Columbia University and patiently endures a scathing introduction from Lee Bollinger and other unfriendly questions from attendees, not to mention attacks from assorted politicians and pundits not in attendance.
Now Bush has been invited to speak at an Iranian university and not only is he too afraid to appear before an unscreened audience (with dissenters not shunted off into "free-speech zones"), but his administration feels the need to respond to the invitation in a most tasteless and insulting manner. A simple "no, thanks" wouldn't do. No, White House spokesbabe Dana Perino has to put it thus: "Obviously if Iran was a free and democratic society that allowed its people freedom of expression and wasn't pursuing nuclear weapons [like the U.S.] and wasn't advocating to destroy the country of Israel [which it isn't, although a certain other country has pretty well destroyed Iraq and is threatening Iran], the president might consider that invitation. But I think that we're not taking it too seriously." How crass and juvenile.

Ugh, not surprised but that should be a slap in the face of a wake up for anyone who was slightly enlightened by the words of Ahmadinejad.

I remember that, too. It was ridiculous, Iraq did everything it possibly could to avoid the war aside from an unconditional surrender of the entire country, it's people, and resources. It was absolutely disgusting
