Realistically, I think there is an opening or rapidly growing movement for a third party candidate and simply a third movement period.
But until they get over themselves, and just agree with eachother to run on one independent platform, or use one official independent election party, none of them have a chance of dethroning the two corporate parties.
The problem is always being that the independent movement is so diverse, it can't agree very often or resemble a single coherant platform and message.
Much to the chargin of its critics..
If it could, it would slay the 2 party duopoly system overnight.
Issues with movements that don't agree with eachother have always been a big problem in America's history. That is why so many fail, or why many independent candidates just run under another existing party movement.
Its actually likely that Ron Paul could get an even bigger following if instead of running under the Republican platform, he simply turned back on that and ran as an Indy.
It would also ensure alot less media coverage, unfortunately. But it would result in bigger results in the polls at the end I would say.
Until we move out of the idea of "politics" to fix a broken system, we will stay with the media we have I'd say rather than a truly unbiased media.
And prosecution of that media embedded network, that starts with the military industrial, and runs through the machine....Is really the only true way to stop the system.
I guess that is why "people" don't do much with politics anymore. They rightly or wrongly see it as a sham where only the elite get their handouts.
In the end I would guess that's why I'll vote for Gore anyhow if he runs. I don't vote (hardly ever) as I see it contributes to a criminal enterprise, that can only be prosecuted and removed productively.
But if Gore does run, he will have just enough elements of a true independent that voting for him will be a givein even if its under the Democrat label. I'd prefer he ran as an indy, I know he'd win anyway.
But in the case that he does run, the only way he'd get spotlighted on TV is running as a democrat. So my vote would be cast towards him, a good first step to dismantling the system and closing down the Federal Reserve.
Gore would do it with enough pressure. No one else would. Ron Paul only if he got elected by a razor thin majority would do it but if its not possible, its not possible.
I recognize the realistic facts of based on who's in charge of who gets elected, Gore would take office long before Ron Paul or Gravel or anybody else even had a shot at it.
That's just how the wheel turns on...
Plus I'd also hope, that somehow, Gore got enough courage to alter the whole MIC system of corruption or at least used his environmental advisors and others who worked for him to overhaul it.
Even if the people influencing him were bad. In any event, I'd pursue channels to convict anyone that could be found to be poisoning Gore or the Gore administration. I would loyally work to remove that cancer as I think that come what may, Gore is the only first step and realistic chance to stopping the Military Industrial disease for good.
