Yes. Atheists got there somehow. And I submit that they got there because they started with an open mind, and learned as much as they could about the alternatives, ie they read the bible, koran or whatever.

Religious people are close-minded, that's how they can believe all that hogwash. Keep in mind that I do not qualify Buddhism as a religion, but in some circles it was modified into one ....they just turned Buddha into some Celebrity like jesus. And religion aims to keep that brain of your CLOSED like an empty box.

I am an atheist myself with one qualification, I believe that what these crackpots call god can be altered into something that may truly exist, but it exists inside every one of us, collectively and seperately.

Just have to awaken it. And this may be done through meditation to clear out all the toxins society put into your brain.

^I disagree. I think it really varies on the person. I've might some extremely close minded Athiests that assume that their cultural values & concepts of morality are universal.

In Islam, we are encouraged to discuss & debate religion with others, and encouraged to science as a means to better understand God & his creation. Belief in God should be accepted through rational proofs, as opposed to just believing in it.

Hardly close minded.

Actually Im pretty sure I've personally bashed every religion, here in this forum that is. So hasnt Ry, and a few others. When push comes to shove I'm an equal opportunity insulter. Mostly its the atheists here that bash on all religions. Not sure if we are the minority or majority here, but, yeah. I personally believe ALL religion was invented as a control mechanism. I tend to ride christians/catholics (Catholicism) just cuz I know more about that religion than the others (other religions that is). Plus I was raised catholic...so i dont feel like its off limits to me, since it was the specifc brainwash I was exposed to.

Check more of the posts and you'll find this to be true. Generally because of the muslim presence here, and lack of catholics or christians, it may be why it seems the "site" bashes cristians exclusively. But I dont think that is an accurate assesment. I've come down on Muslims/christians/catholics/judaism/buddhists/AlienLizardMen, or basically any reference to a god. So has Ry, and V_Tim. Im sure there are others, but in my few weeks here it has been apparent to me.

Because the perpetrators behind U.S & Israeli actions are either of the Christian or Jewish religion. Many of the neocons are also either Jewish or Christian. Considering this website is ANTI-neocons, some sort of antagonism of their religion is expected.

Christianity is also the largest religion in the Western World presently, considering many if not all of us are from that region, we are very much familiar with its close mindedness toward significant issues.

And i think the mainstream media is sufficient enough to give us a daily dose of Islam bashing, your efforts on Anti-Neocons are noted, but they are largely ineffective.

ive read the word christian originally was used by the romans to insult those who followed jesus ( pbuh) ,as racist as when white men were slaving black people in america and calling them niggers ...
anyone that know christianity can tell you that jesus (pbuh) never claimed his faith to be called christianity , this is just one of many proofs that jesus (pbuh) had nothing to do with old or modern christianity , the orignial bible has a few verses of jesus ,but the entire bible well thats a different story
