Ron is in a solid 2nd in New Hampshire right now.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... #pagebreak

The poll only goes out to republican voters though and NH has A LOT of independent voters. Ron smashed everyone when it came to independents, dems and moderates. He appeals to a broader audience than the rest. YOUNG PEOPLE GET OFF YOUR ASS AND VOTE!

Ron Paul might end up either winning or getting a close 2nd place. SC and FL he will be third at best but Manie and Nevada will be next up and on the same day and should both be Ron Paul 1st place finishes! This will help rebound from the SC/FL primaries and give momentum going into Colorado and Minn, both voted double digits for Paul in 08 and look good for 2012.

This could happen! Paul can win. The early states matter so much and he should get first or second in 7 of the first 10 states because of the batting order. If so it will become a 2 man race between Pual and Romney. Paul will kill him in the debates.

Why is Romney polling so high?! :grr:
It would be wonderful if Paul could take this from him.

Maybe New Englanders think Romney will bring home the bacon with increased pork allotments.

Uh, Romney is from Massachusetts and, was elected Governor of Massachusetts in 2002. Massachusetts (New England - EPA Region 1), borders New Hampshire, though.

He doesn't live here in Massachusetts anymore.

Even if he did the people simply would not have him.

Seeing the polls with Mitt on them are a funny thing because they make it look like everyone in Massachusetts and New Hampshire support him.

When in reality everyone here in Mass. hates Mitt Romney and most people from New Hampshire hate anyone from Massachusetts automatically haha.

I speak first hand that Mitt Romney's universal healthcare has been vial to our state.

It requires all residents that don't have private insurance to sign up to "masshealth" (there are various branches and different names now but the biggest is health net). For most people it is free or very affordable and filling prescriptions is under the $5 mark, BUT you are penalized on your state taxes if you go uninsured for a lengthy amount of time (most people making 20,000 to 30,000 per year end up owing 500-800 dollars in state taxes). Funny thing is.. It just so happens to run out or cancel itself every x amount of months (or even weaks) for no reason. There is no pattern of it's cancellation, and holders of the insurence are NOT notified.

This means that if you think you have the required state insurance, it can cancel you without notice at any time. That means if you go a few months without getting injured or needing to see a doctor you do NOT know that you're insured... and that's exactly what's happening to basically every working class citizen here.

Virtually every person I know that made approximately that amount of money and wasn't on another branch of welfare with children was hit with that state tax.

On top of that, most decent doctors don't take it and the ones that do are constantly changing. This means having to change your physician. Frequently. Which is difficult because masshealth will auto-assign a new doctor to you and often times the doctors aren't even accepting new patients.

This means you have to call back into masshealth.. which is tricky because the automated system is an absurd colostomy bag of mazes that will frequently connect you to a number that "has changed, or is now out of service". If you manage to reach an operator, they are just as disorganized as the machines.

No one that I know here in the great state of Taxachusetts supports Mitt Romney that doesn't work for the state.

If anyone wants anymore info or to quote that then fine by me. I feel like not a lot of Mass. residents have been speaking out on a presidential level how bad his poisonous health care system was for the state.

At first, I thought "vial" was a typo and you meant vital (essential). Then, it quickly became obvious that you meant "vile" (morally despicable, abhorrent, repulsive, disgusting).

It does seem that "masshealth" has disturbed the peace Massachusetts once knew. What ever happened to "Ense petit placidam sub libertate quietem" (By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty)?

Thank you very much for sharing the Taxachusetts lowdown on that lowdown Mitt Romney's "masshealth"!

It was a rhetorical question. Nonetheless, I do believe Romney has several homes even one in CA.

If Santorum gets second in NH, I have lost all faith in the North East.
