Korean boat was hit with German sub torpedo
WHO uses German torpedoes and has a reputation for sinking boats and blaming it on others?
Israel.

You don't have to go back as far as the USS Liberty attack.
In 2005 Israel sank a Japanese boat and killed 7 people. They denied it but Korean authorities who tested the boat found that it matched paint samples with the Israel sub which had rammed it. Israeli subs try to follow under Japanese and Korean ships to pass through international waters, where they shouldn't be, hiding behind radar by making it appear that the visible ship is what is showing. Sometimes they follow to close and hit the ships. That is what looks like happened here.
Israel sinks Japanese boat, denies it, gets busted, back peddles to say it was an accident, and is forced to apologize and admit guilt.

You know this boat attack happened in March but its now getting attention. What else was happening? Japan's PM is under massive pressure from those who voted for his party to close pointless US bases in Okinawa. I find the timing more than interesting, just when Japan is poised to kick the US out and older incident gets some press and then we find out the sub used a German torpedo. This whole thing is fishy.

I guess this excuse would make some sense to some, but then they would have to explain why the torpedo had some Korean writing. Writing something on it in you own language would be the most stupid thing to do if you wanted to "disguise your involvement".

The UN will have a look into this. Of course we all know that the US doesn't give a shit about its findings.
Here's what's funny. According to the papers over here it was SK who asked the UN to have a look into the matter while it was NK who demanded it plus they wanted to see the evidence themselves. That last part will never happen.
This will take some first class diplomacy from china, NK. We are looking at a game of chess that is rigged from the beginning.
I bet SK knows the truth. I bet japan knows the truth. China even but in the light of maintaining a good image they all play along.
Let's hope this fizzles out. If not things can get very nasty. It's like a fuse on a powder keg. I'm sorry to say so but if a war is started it will be the US that will be regarded as evil.

ISRAELI SHIP SUSPECT IN HIT-AND-RUN AT SEA THAT KILLED SEVEN JAPANESE SAILORS… Japanese officials are accusing a ship belonging to Israel’s Zim lines of being the vessel that struck and sunk a Japanese fishing boat and fled the scene last Thursday. Seven Japanese crewmen died in the collision. The captain of the Israeli ship has denied any knowledge of the incident. Yet, Japanese officials claim to have proof in the form of radar images that show the ship in the area at the time of the accident and an abrupt course change following the collision. Japanese coastguard planes also made visual contact with the Zim vessel. Although the Israeli ship was not the only one in the area at the time, suspicion over its erratic course was backed up by physical evidence of a collision observed by officials when it docked at the South Korean port of Busan on Friday, including marks with paint matching the Japanese boat. The ship is again at sea, but South Korean officials have sent the Zim Asia’s GPS records along with samples of the foreign paint to Japan.

This is more on the sinking of the Boat the Israelis have admitted it and apologized for it now. It's typical Israel, they let it be blamed on someone else and deny any action until they are caught red handed, still continue to deny it, and then get busted and are forced to admit it and apologize. That last step happened because it was Japan. Had then happened to the US, Israel would never get past the denial stage.
