I have a slow metabolism, I have to diet just to not gain weight. Even when I was struggling to find a meal to eat every day I was still "medically obese." I also don't really agree with society's perception of what is "feminine." It's just a piece of cultural furniture so to speak that is left over from when women used to be more oppressed in our country. Some girls walk around with shaved heads in wife-beaters and jeans and I still find them attractive.

The biggest thing is sugars/carbohydrates I promise. I know other health guru's on this forum may disagree but I promise you will drop weight fast if you reduce your carbs to 20grams a day. I used to literally eat zero carbs for almost 6yrs and I got down to 119lbs. I worked out though (but you don’t have to) and I'm nearly 5'10. I maintain now around 130lbs give or take 5lbs. I don’t know how healthy it is but if losing weight is your goal than do the no carbs. It really does work.

I don’t mind for people to be a little overweight. I just don’t want to notice the weight as the first thing. If someone got naked and then I noticed a little fat on the stomach or whatever, then cool. lol I also think a woman can be sexy with a shaved head and jeans. I do like a little eyeliner though.

True. I eat rice and I eat carrots from time to time but keep in mind all root veggies have carbs.

If you want to lose weight though, dont even chew gum just do it for a week to 10 days and see if you dont lose 10- 15% of your body weight. If you have health issues, check w/your doc first.

I just stopped eating and drinking animal products. In less than 2 months, I went from 197 lbs. to 162 lbs. I also lift weights 6-7 days a week, but I did that before I gave up the animal food.

I think it is important that people take some pride in their appearance cause it is often a reflection of the way they handle other aspects of their life. If they look real messy, fat and sloppy, chances are they keep their home that way too. They also tend to not be real ambitious out of lack of love for ones self.

this is a wide spread misconception, but from personal exp its not true. In my last work place my team manager was really fat, yet she was a workaholic, she even used to work when she was really ill, she did so much unpaid overtime. I was the skinniest person in the office, and the laziest, and the least ambitious, while i keep the house clean and clutter free my bedroom is a tip. Its all about perception. I know full well how people can percieve bigger people as lazy so i took full advantage of it, my dieting and a few late hours when my other manager was in did the trick, she thought i was an anorexic workaholic.... if only she knew

You can be skinny and lazy exquisite I have personally been proving that lately. lol
However, people are big for a reason. Your manager sounds like she may eat to deal with her stress vs alcohol like most workaholics I know.

I use to work all the time and I would drink vodka often too. Luckly for me, I was able to stop when the stress stopped. Maybe you could help your boss lose a few if you would do your work. :P
