Huckabee's First 2012 Campaign Stop: Israel

Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, visits Israeli homes in the predominantly Arab neighborhoods of East Jerusalem


"Do the Palestinians need a place to call their own?" he asked rhetorically. "If that's very important, then that should be accommodated. But can it be accommodated on the exact same property that Jews currently occupy? The answer is no, it can't. And so we can kid ourselves all day long and try to perpetuate this idea of having two governments running the same country, but it's not worked out and it's not realistic."


Could he be ANY more BACKWARDS?! Those Settlers JUST took those homes from Palestinians who used to live there a few DAYS ago.
Huckabee sits well with the Religious Right in America and given that the Republicans have no one right now he may very well be their 2012 nomination. This is a man who doesn't believe in evolution. Thought things couldn't be worst than Barak Twofaced Obama? Think again. It can get worse.

By the way Huckabee it would be two government running two countries. See Huckabee starts with the basic assumption that Jerusalem must be entirely Israel's and for the Jews. He didn't bat an eye at Israel coming in with guns and bulldozers and forcing people to move in order that more Jews and only Jews could take over the homes in Jerusalem for the self proclaimed chosen race of god. What is it? Is Fascism excusable so long as it's part of religion?

Worst thing about Huckabee, and this was clear during the campaign, is that he's a DEMOCRAT! He wants to use government to enforce his beliefs on the population, which is EXACTLY what the so-called "religious right" wants in a candidate. Issues like limiting government and reducing costs are clearly not on his agenda.
