Very interesting article...

http://waronyou.com/topics/fractures-in ... -movement/

Quote:
This fracture in the truth movement between the anti-zionists and the Alex Jones automatons was building gradually for a few years until Bermas blew the issue wide open on Alex Jones’ show in April. Since then the fracture has become a fissure, and the fissure will soon become a gulf.

Good find, Liszt. I'm not really a truther myself and don't follow any of the people discussed but WRH and Rense generally feel better than AJ and Prison Planet, if not completely agreeable. I guess the same skepticism that leads me to not believe the "official" story also leads me to doubt some of the explanations offered by others. In any case, this was my favorite quote :)

How convenient for Alex Jones that he gets to represent the truth movement on mainstream TV news! In my experience, only controlled opposition gets a coveted interview on CONTROLLED mainstream TV news. But hey, that’s just 19-years-of-me-paying-attention speaking–no need to heed my words or anything…

HAHAHAHA

yeah, the writer is quite witty in that one.

Lots of sites are going down right now. WUFYS has gone, Carol Valentine has been missing for years, Judicial has just announced that it will probably be closing, John Bryant is dead etc etc.

I can now count on one hand how many decent news sites there are. How frightening is that?

A prick is someone like Michael Moore.

My beef with Alex more than his lack of mentioning zionism is all the other crap he tries to mask it with. Illuminati, germananic death cult, NWO, lucifarians etc etc.

That kind of bullshit plus all his religious rhetoric is why he will never be taken seriously except by people who know how to filter him and just ignore all of his fear mongering tirades and fits over the occults and masonic order etc. It just shows that he really doesn't have a clue about what he is saying. He just is a mouth piece for other researchers who feed him stories and then he taints them and colors them all with his crazy brush.

If you filter out the crazy you can get a real story. But you can't really share it with others because Alex is a kook and linking to his is just instant discredibility.

If he would just drop all that bullshit that we know he knows in bullshit and would point out the Zionist Neocons that started this crap and the very real people in the MIC milking religious tensions just for the sake of generating profit and power then people (because he does have a lot of listeners) would see a bigger picture and one actually base din reality.

But then again if he didn't say all the crazy crap he wouldn't have the audience that he does. I mean just look at David Icke and his space lizard Vatican crap he has a following too or Jeff Rense with his ghost and aliens shit. He also has a following.

I've tried real hard to give people the straight story and was working with Rivero (the most sane of them in my opinion) for a while until he was giving tacit support for Obama. Sure he bashes him now but you all remember when WRH was drinking the kool aid.

What limits me to critique myself, is A) lack of technology, I don't have my own radio or the web knowhow to really pimp out my work b) no money for it so I can't totally devote myself to this. c) my dysgraphia and dyslexia which certainly slow things down and is discrediting (though there is nothing I can do about it) d) my atheism which is never well received.

I've been trying to learn A, I try to make enough doing other things for B) I work very hard on C) with all the known things for that, and I have toned down on D)because arguing with religious people is like giving medicine to the dead.

I need help on A and B. Ledskof just updated the version of the forum so that is helping A. I plan on releasing something special for 9/11 and will be doing a series of radio shows all in a row. SO that will help A as well.

I thin I've left Alex alone for too long because I see what he is doing as a good thing more than bad. But to take it to another level and attract more intellect rather than just teenagers (popular with Alex) I think it is necessary to distance ourselves from him.

He shouldn't have the truth movement on his shoulders. LOTS of people know way more than that guy. Esp about the war in Iraq which Alex is pretty ignorant about.

I will say this. "Obama Deception" nice title by the way, was very good and very needed. It did have two factual mistakes in it however. They just naed the wrong secrataries or something I don't remember but i wrote about it in the thread about the movie. But over all that film has to get in more hands.

You're right Ry, the Obama Deception was pretty good. Still, I (and many others) consider your work to be much better than Jones' stuff. And it is all sourced, despite what Thunk may think.

Mike R was only Obama-fooled for a few months...but that is a few months longer than he should have been.

If you wanted change and anything but the three stooges bush-palin-mccain it was easy to get fooled. And choice was limited. People aged pretty fast in the bush years. Since this topic is about something else I'll leave at this.

Alex Jones appeared in some Hollywood (animation)film. That sealed it for me. Even before that I disliked the way he took interviews, always interrupting with his know-it-all attitude. In some cases he turns the things his guests just said into something else entirely.
