Mail the disc a long with an intelligent letter to your congressman and senator. Just inform them that you've enclosed a video with the basics about the Fed.

For the price of a dollar or so this could be mailed tomorrow. Just go to congress.org to get the address of your rep. You can type in your zip code to find them.

Make the film and mail it to them. Write R3volution on the back of the envelope.

Send it to congress. When Kucinich saw it, it changed his life. Ron Paul already know it. But face it our congress is not too bright. They need a movie to explain it to them.

Don't let the Ron Paul revolution momentum die down. Let's follow this plan.

What kind of approach is this when you have no guarantee they are even going to view the DVD/CD to begin with?


We need to do something that produces a much higher impact then that.....something outside the box which gets the alternative media to roll the cameras....I'm always thinking about some....

Over 500 DVDs someone is going to watch it. Just them all getting it sends them a message. This isn't like putting all the eggs in one basket everyone can keep doing what they've been doing this is just extra. I know people who saw that film and it changed their entire world view for the rest of their life. It's a powerful film. We don't know that they will watch it but if even one of them does he/she'll talk to some of the others.

I'm with you dude. I've been handing out "Educational Vids" at work recently and Money Masters is the latest. I wrote to my Congressman and Senator's about Ron Paul's Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act (HR 2755). All came back with Bushit answers. I'm hoping your idea works better.

Good idea Ryan. Let's hope those corporate-state cogs are indeed more ignorant than they are cleverly mindful when it comes to this issue. I, personally, prefer Mises.org material because, if I recall accurately, the Money Masters producer/narrator discourages the use of hard money. The Ludwig von Mises Institute puts out the most concise and scholarly material in both video and essay form. They are on YouTube as well. I believe that Ry Anti-Neocons has posted a couple of these over the years.

I'm glad to see so much creative passion at work in the ideas being presented here. This is my first post on this board, I met Ry through MySpace.

Back in 1987 I worked for a guy that managed his department by cliche. You'd come to him with an idea and he'd respond with something like, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," or "Don't reinvent the wheel," or "You can't manage what you can't count."

It's that last one that's stuck with me all these years. I've realized more utility from that one statement than from any other that I can think of. And because it's been so valuable to me, I want to share it here and see if it affords some value as well.

On the idea of mailing the movie to our representatives, here's what bothers me: I can't count how many actually viewed it... of those who may view it, I can't count how many actually felt educated/enlightened... of those who were informed, I can't count how many will actually move against the status quo and DO something about what they learned.

And with that being said, the mailing idea becomes an exercise in busy-ness. It's like throwing a plate of spaghetti against a wall: we don't know how much is gonna stick but it doesn't matter... we're gonna throw the plate anyway because, after all, SOMETHING's got to be done.

So now, I'm sorta in brainstorm mode here... what if those of us who intend to follow-thru on this plan were to include a way to count some of these things? Would that make it a better plan? I think it would, so here's what I'm proposing...

Before you send the movie, send a letter. Tell your representative that you have a movie on DVD that deals with fiscal policy and the history of the Federal Reserve. Tell them it opened your eyes, as a voter, to many important details and that you think it's important that anyone who's elected to represent you should also be aware of.

Then ask them flat-out for a commitment: Will you watch this movie in its entirety sometime in the next 14 days, and get back to me with your impressions?

If they say yes, and follow-through, you're golden! You KNOW that some representative "X" has done the deed because his/her feedback should offer you clues that they watched (or had an aide do it, I know).

If they say no, then you've got something IN WRITING that you can take to the media or whomever, saying "We asked our elected representatives to watch this important documentary about the Fed and they REFUSED THEIR CONSTITUENTS' REQUESTS! What kind of 'representative government is that?'

I'm sure there are plenty of holes in this idea, but the point of sharing is to incrementally improve upon ideas until they're golden, right?

Ry's got us off on a great start... let's keep the innovation going until we have something magnificent!
