You are very kind. The things is I never brought up this rant. I do try and have tried to go point to point here. It just got ugly real fast. Also, I have to try to address 8 people at one time and it doesn’t flow right as well as taxing. Other people here who feel like I do just don’t want to get into. I guess. Don’t you recall when we tried to do this? I have given people my email address and myspace or even pm would be fine, to talk about each point individually. As far as throwing my 2 cents out there on topics that come up, we all do that mine just happens to be different then the majority on this topic.

I don't mean to be picky, or attack you. This is just a subject that I've been interested in for a long time (I'm also studying science - physics - in school) and as I understand it, if your speaking in terms of the "fabric" of space, which I guess is space/time, gravity is the effect that mass has on that "fabric".

On the other hand, since nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, if a mass changes in magnitude or position, then its affect on the "fabric" has to change to reflect its new state. That change can only move outward from the initial position of the mass at the speed of light. Two dimensionally this looks kind of like a single ripple on the surface of a pond caused by a raindrop and is referred to as a gravitational wave.

I've actually heard graduate students talking about technologies which use gravity waves to detect thing like submarines.

You aren't picking on me at all, What your saying is kinda what I already said:

Gravity is not waves it's the very fabric of space itself.

This is a bit misleading. Gravity is a force on space time.

First lets define gravitational force between objects:



G: gravitational constant
m1: is the first mass
m2: is the second mass
r: is the distance between the objects

Space is not empty but is in fact a fabric or medium that propagates magnetic fields and electromagnetic waves (likely where you got the idea of waves Liszt, but what you said is still wrong as define above). Space is not matter in the sense that it is not composed of particles. Matter is a four dimensional wave form. Height, width, depth and time. Matter has no real existence apart from it's wave form. Everything acts as particles and waves. That is why my SN is (Phys1905) that is the year Einstein showed that light also is a particle a photon. The fabric of space-time is warped by this gravitional force but it curves it in all d-space not just in 3d. Black holes punch holes in the fabric of space-time.

phys's way of arguing is to stick her fingers in her ears and say I just dont believe in facts, science or sense. I have my intuition and can create my own science but um its not based on the actual event but a different event that fits my conclusion.

Phys STOP DODGING THE QUESTION the buliding was 47 stories high and disappeared in 6 seconds straight down. Fire does not melt an entire builing of steel and concrete and turn it into dust in seconds. You coudn't even burn a chimney that fast much less a sky scrapper.
