Will the Ukraine set off a help Crimean campaign the way the US suddenly discovered the plight of the Kurds post Iraq War to try and rationalize the invasion? There is a for sure way to know. If the word Crimean pops up on the news you can bet we are being prepped with propaganda. For you and I know that 99% of Americans have never heard of the place and don't care about it or know any of its history.
It's something to watch out for as a future conflict. I can see signs of tension with the Ukraine again and Russia and it seems like they re-started the stunt they were flying towards in 2004 only to get tossed to the back burner when Perle and his cabal had to resign. But it seems to be back again.
On top of the Orange Revolution fiasco and the Scooby-Doo kookery level "mystery"of the infamous dioxide poisoning during the election, and the tightening ties with NATO and the Offense shield mess, there is the ongoing Naftogaz saga. If you haven't been following the Naftagoz Drama you're probably pretty normal. But these kind of things are what ignite into armed conflicts.
Hope I am wrong. But just be monitoring the news about the Ukraine. We've got conflicts in Pakistan, the Congo, Gaza, and of course Iraq and Afghanistan, and with the world economy collapsing it looks like only more are on the rise.

Oleh Dubyna and Naftogaz are not paying their debts for Russian gas (a situation we had last march as well) Russia could cut off a major oil supply to the rest of Europe.
