China becomes world's 3rd strongest country
BEIJING — China has risen to become the third strongest country in the world in terms of national power, following the United States and Japan, according to a Chinese government think tank report issued recently. China ranked third among the top 10, beating Germany, Britain, France, Russia, Norway, Canada and Australia, according to the "China Modernization Report 2008" issued by the China Academy of Sciences.
China is set to pass Japan in 2030 as the second strongest country.
However Japan is far far more ethical than China or the US and has way more liberty. 90% middle class and better education than both. Japan's market is smaller than the US but still bigger than China. The weakness is in the Military Japan has the third largest (though it is not called a military) but China and the US have Nukes and Japan doesn't want them. But it lowers their rank.
