Notice something about the earthquake and tsunami? There wasn't any looting. If there is a black out of flood in the US there is massive looting and that's with guns available as well. Here we have a far larger disaster and not a single looter. That's a huge cultural difference.

the chemical makeup of soy: in addition to all the nutrients and protein, soy contains a natural chemical that mimics estrogen, the female hormone.

I don't profess to know anything about Japan. Tofu is HUGE where I live. In fact made right here and the majority of veg heads eat it all day long.

An increase in the intake of tofu = an increase in the amount of estrogen. An increase in the amount of estrogen = a decrease in the amount of testosterone. A decrease in the amount of testosterone = a more unified, less war-like human.

You see this in older men - they become .... softer (if you will) - I watch it in my dear old dad. This is also one of the reasons younger girls like older men. They can relate a bit better. More equal estrogen levels.

So, perhaps the additional intake of soy products - if there is indeed an increase in soy intake in Japan - allows for a more fair, more communicative, less violent community of people !

Wait I was just making an educated guess(well educated joke) about the Japanese having more estrogen in that thread.



I didn't know they consumed a good amount of soy.

Don't really like being a female, but estrogen's empathy effect is something I always viewed as the best quality about females in general (in the sea of all the crappy characteristics.) I wouldn't trade that for strength. Besides I always have the option of steroids .

Not sure if the soy thing is accurate myself (with regards to Japan and its food supply).

Look at it this way - as you get older you can get a testosterone patch to assist with the decrease in testosterone that naturally occurs in females.
Not only that - but there's always a strapping young lad out there that can chop wood. And now that they have those handy dandy jar opener thingies, well the strength thing is pretty much looked after !

It's not form tofu. It's their culture. And the Japanese dont have a uniform diet anymore than Americans do. Also in the US women loot too.

Women can be as bad, if not WORSE, than men in many different situations. Unfortunately. Look at Hilary Clinton go.

Nah males take the cake for having more murderers, serial killers, rapists, pedophiles, evil dictators, sadists etc than females. But it's cool since they also take the cake for inventing and accomplishing way more than women ever have.
