I too have had a problem with police in the Seattle area. My incident happened in Bellevue, a rich suburb where I was conspicuous in my VW Fox. I was pulled over by a female cop was without a partner. She was clearly apprehensive, so I went out of my way to seem as innocuous as I am. After receiving my license, she return to her car and checked to see whether I was a wanted murderer or rapist and whether my car had been stolen. Then she returned, gave me my license and told me that my tail-light was not working. I told her I would fix it right away, and she headed back to her car. Then I realized that I didn't know which light was not working, so I got out and started to ask her. She responded by pulling her gun, getting down in the shooter's crouch, and screaming at me that I had no right to get out of my car.

I was so shocked that I just jumped back in my car and left. Regrettably, I didn't report her. A few months later, I moved from the U.S. to the Philippines, where I live now. Here, I am safe from the abuse of insane cops. Here, I am free. In the U.S., I never felt free.

I am 72 years old, and the incident occurred in 1997.

Advice: If you go to Bellevue, be sure to drive ritzy car. They might shoot you if you look ordinary or, worse, poor.

Sounds like a good idea. Relocating to Asia that is.
