Lawmaker Quits Over Sex Comments
http://news.aol.com/article/california- ... its/662973

Notice that even though regular news outlets like AOL news reported the story that the youtube video has been removed.

A Republican state lawmaker from Southern California resigned Wednesday amid growing outrage over a videotape that caught him bragging in graphic detail about having sex with a female lobbyist and another woman.

Quote:
California Assemblyman Mike Duvall resigned Wednesday after he was videotaped bragging in graphic detail about having sex with a female lobbyist and another woman. The married Republican, a "family values" politician, apparently didn't realize his mic was live when he chatted away to another man during a legislative session

He was sleeping with a lobbyist from a utility company and another woman.
fortunately I saved a copy from the local news

Quote:
In a recording of a legislative hearing, Duvall can be heard talking about a recent sexual escapade with a woman he says is 18 years younger.
"I'm getting into spanking her," Duvall is heard to say on the videotape.
The other man asks if she likes it, too. Duvall responds: "She goes, 'I know you like spanking me.' I said, 'Yeah, that's 'cause you're such a bad girl.'"
The conversation was first reported by KCAL-TV in Los Angeles and the newspaper OC Weekly. The Associated Press later obtained a copy of the videotaped hearing

I sound like a broken record saying this but...it really gets to me how big of a deal people make out of politicians personal lives. Doesn't necessarily apply in this case but...I definitely think that the best thing Clinton did for this country was show that you could get sucked off in the oval office and get away with it. How can we ever expect to have gay/lesbian representatives if you can't even have sex with someone that you're not married to? I mean i'm not trying to advocate cheating on your wife but, what if she knew and/or didn't even care? Would she have stated that publicly? And furthermore, under oath or not, what right does a court really have to ask you who you have or haven't had sex with (assuming their was no rape or other form of abuse involved)?

It's a big deal because it makes them subject to blackmail.

Let's not forget that this guy is trying to advocate "family values" too. It makes him a friggin hypocrite. Why has no one said anything about that.

Part of how these a-holes get into office is they pretend that they are upright folks. It pisses me off when someone lies.

People don't seem to care about the sanctity of marriage anymore, and it is sad. But I will suspend that argument to bring forth the following:

How about these politicians just be honest and say that they don't give a crap about family values so their election is based on honesty rather than a bunch of pathetic lies.

These "religious men of faith" don't have any and they are an embarrassment to whatever institution they claim to represent.

Back to the sanctity of marriage argument: If you guys think it is ok for a man to cheat on his wife, then you must also think it's ok for a woman to cheat on her husband, right? While all of this sexual escapading is going on, who is going to watch the kids? Furthermore, who is going to monitor where the family funding goes to? Bottom line is the family suffers--the kids suffer. When you make a commitment and you start having kids, men and women alike need to sacrifice their sexual freedoms for the sake of the well-being of their children. Period.
