A co-worker of mine, who is a friend, anti-war middle of the road kind of guy. Sent me this: He's not a neocon, and we usually agree on everthing. He sent me this link...from a jewish website. Can anyone look up these alleged pics and try to give this validity or scrutiny?

I know it's from a jewish website, and is used as PR against the support of Hizbollah, but...none the less.....

yeh i saw the fake photo from ruters. it was on main stream media. The added flares was by the same guy. This is the press fudges crap to get the story. It really doesn't matter all those people are dead thats not fakable. But Israel would love push this pollywood bushit and pretend the press is against them and fakes the whole thing.
I lived on Hatteras Island and we have had many hurricanes and I have seen the press ask locals to go pose in pictures of real damage. A lot of people want to be on TV and they comply the press does it for their quick story. But it in no way changed what the Hurricanes did.

I heard that it wasn't the photographer that added more smoke to his photo (which was a blatant photoshop work), but a person who works in the editing panel to get the photos online. If the photographer himself was innocent, then the editing may have been done to discredit the rest of his photos, including the ones he took in Qana.

That's true. When I said came from the same photographer I didn't mean to say he edited them obvioulsy that was from the editor.

question remains, was it Reuters? The thing is here, that allegations if unfounded have to be fought. That is why I brought this up here. If anything I know that AIPAC and the rest of teh lobby have no room to talk when it comes to media lies. But....they are playing the counterattack..here.

All mainstream media lies about everything.
But the fact that this happened and then was reported so fast I even saw it on AOL makes me think it was a set up. When The US caught with its pentagon production team rigging the Saddam statue you will never hear about it on the MSM but when this turkey does it about Lebanon its front page. It seems to me like this was done on purpose to down play the very real plight of over 1000 dead civilians.

Here's some more Lebanese damage we don't see on the news. I listen to and watch the news alot, and I didn't know the Israelis/we dropped cluster bombs. That's pretty nasty.

CNN International's Jim Clancy, reporting from southern Lebanon, finds Quote: that unexploded munitions are taking a toll on Lebanese children.
A nurse describes the child casualties she sees as "the new phase of the war." Clancy reports that a 10% failure rate among the small bombs released from cluster bombs has left the unexploded--and extremely dangerous--munitions in Lebanon. The bombs dropped on Lebanon were reportedly old, with a much higher failure rate of about 40%.
In the wasteland of southern Lebanon, children gather up metal to sell. It's easy to mistake one of the small cluster bomb-lets for scrap. One child survivor recalls the bomb that put him in a hospital bed, "...my cousin picked up the bomb. It was shaped like a ball. It was an explosion. My insides fell out. I held them and started running and screaming."
Bomb search teams are scouring southern Lebanon but finding the "tens of thousands" of unexploded bombs will take time. Bombs that haven't already armed themselves can be easily destroyed but many others cannot even be touched. The bombs that are already armed can only be flagged and left for later.
