This is a perfect example of what can happen with boys with penis envy get their toy boats too close together in the same bathtub. Like Ry said, as was my original thought, it just makes no sense to me. We have to understand that there are very likely elements within Iran that would like to see a conflict, heck oil is up, so somebody is liking this. But obviously, this is not the sentiment of the government or country at large. While I take the reports from pressTV (remember, it's state run news) with a grain of salt, our own fascist corporate owned media and government have lost all credibility with me. It's not the five boats they're worried about, it's the Chinese low flying supersonic missles that can take out destroyers and carriers. An attack would have likely had disastrous consequenses for both sides.

I tell you what, I'm about done with people and this mad world. Insane people ruled by insane leaders. There's not much we can do if they start another conflict. It may be what's needed to dismantle the empire, but that will have disastrous consequences for both the USA and Iran. I will forge ahead, but we are merely the beginning and so is Ron Paul. I have long told people in our meetup group that it should not dissolve with the election or non-election of Dr. Paul. We have to push forward until it is illegal to do so, which may not be very far off. An event is needed to push this agenda onward, it has stagnated, don't you all think?

I can honestly say I tried as hard as I could. I started campaigning for Ron Paul in 2005 just trying to get people to know who he is. I made this site, went on the radio drove activism made videos, got my whole family behind it. What else can we you do you know? We have to put up with the bias of the MSM and then Smears from internet kooks and socialist journalist and have a very uphill battle to climb.

There are just too many stupid people in America.

I should have worked harder. After the George Galloway thing, I gotta say Im feeling hopeless.....

The news of NH is good though.

What?

Dude, Israel is mostly like who pulled this stunt. think about it Bush is visiting Israel right now Bush arrives in the morning and they pulled this stunt last night. All the media reporting on it is annonymous... lol.

I doubt anything happened at all not even a fake attack I think they flat out just made it up. I mean how can Iran prove they didn't have aboat in the area etc. This reminds me of Israel's two "kidnapped" soldiers which is what they used to start a war with Lebanon. They were never returned even in the cease fire and even with the UN negotiating Israel never pushed to have them released. I doubt they even existed.

And oil is up because the dollar is down not because there is really any less oil. In the price of gold oil prices have remained flat the whole time since 2003. In the price of dollars it has risen 300%.

Obviously. For one thing there are most likely Mossad and CIA operatives/assets inside Iranian borders that are working towards this.

And.... do they have rednecks/hicks in Iran? How about a Fox News? Maybe some ignorant, Earth-is-10,000-years-old preacher that believes war with America/Israel guarantees the coming of heaven on Earth? If so then I reckon there are a select few who would want to see war. But I've never been to Iran so I don't know :D

Furthermore, on a more serious note: The timing coincidences that were brought up didn't mention the recent AIPAC trial date moving again. As everyone here is aware, they are indeed running out of time for this war. Sorry to state the obv...

I wonder what the Iranian media says about the U.S.

Any more info on this? I did see some reports from Iranian TV with pictures of it happening. Iranian TV basically said nothing happened, nothing at all. Perhaps nothing did.

Ry, it is also likely that nothing happened, but I'm trying to work with what we have heard from MSM. It was probably that something happened, but not like this. The reports of the boats leaving as soon as the order was given to fire is very telling however.

Ian, yes Iran has Neocons, they are called hardliners, aka Ahmedinijad, and they suck just as bad as our Neocons, well maybe not as bad. I have been studying the politics of Iran a little bit and I am surprised at how many similarities I find in what is happening over there.
