But how do these coin worshipping evil leeches get into power? The religious right elects them. Because they are in basically authoritarian sheep.

Go to Google Video and type in The Naked Truth. I think it's a Jorden Maxwell thing. Very enlightening on where a LOT of religion is actually coming from. It is something every "sheeple" should watch.

Religion is as religion does. CHrist also agreed with kingdoms and divine right so I guess we should throw away our Republic and follow a king.

Americans don't have a choice about throwing away their Republic -- it was thrown away for them when the Federal Reserve came into being.

As for Jesus, though, his sayings in the Gospels are pretty ambiguous.

"Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's."

Hmm, Caesar got fifty daggers in the back, so that is what is his, right ... so should we stab him?

That's one interpretation.

But Jesus was not interested in the outside world as much as in the world of the soul. The outside world was there, but Jesus had more important things to do, like go alone into the wilderness and quote Isaiah at spirits.

You can blame Peter, or Innocent III, or John Paul II, or any other Christian for the excesses done in the name of Jesus , and I won't object.

Likewise you can blame the folks who came after Buddha for the violence done in the name of Buddhism.

first of all that is a Shakespear made myth. Secondly that would only be Julius Caesar not even alive in Christ's time.

Ry, I admire you, your passion, your self-discipline, your hearty persistence in an up-hill battle, your intelligent engagement of reality. I see what you describe in your rants. Your perspective is coherent and cogent. I do NOT disagree. You burn hot and bright, and more power to you.

I offer the following comments in a spirit of assistance in the furthering of your purpose.

You are a born leader, driven to exhibit the admirable qualities cited above as charisma. You can motivate people by your example. People want to be like you. And they will try. But, in the end, they must fall short. Your compassion may be the only thing to forestall their despair, their hopelessness. Can you understand the psychically diffuse lives that most people lead? The endless parade of distractions that drain the energy and focus of the average, luxury-deprived person? The perpetual onslaught of pleasures and pains that form the background of common, work-a-day life for the bulk of humanity? I am certain you are capable of this understanding. Compassion can be found in the exercise of this understanding, but in your skillfully balanced way to avoid turning compassion into coddling.

I see you pushing the envelope, hard. An even though you don't necessarily succeed in breaking through, your pressure deforms the envelope; and that deformation travels like a wave, affecting the envelope at other, maybe distant, locations. The effects may not be those you intended, but they are important in unpredictable ways to a reshaping of the envelope, to the propagation of un-thought-of influences.

Ultimately, Force rules the world of matter. The power to move matter is the power that controls the world. But matter possesses a kind of movement memory: inertia, the tendency of a body at rest to stay at rest, or, if in motion, to stay in motion. This renders the force control of the movement of matter problematic. Inertia complexifies all force control efforts. It is why the simplest things are not so simple; the easiest things, not so easy. Inertial response is matter remembering...this is the inherent weakness of all control systems--even of the powers that be.
