First off, hello to everyone. I am new to the forums. I enjoy the straightforward nature of this site. I hope this is the correct section for this topic.

I don't tell people what I believe. There have been a few times when I was probed for my beliefs by overly religious people, and they always made it a point to try and teach me a lesson or two about their angry god and how I should please him. I don't talk about my beliefs with people, but I am a natural at debate. I find it funny how I always win by reason. I usually only experienced this with Christians.

However, there are a few things I always do or say that shuts them down completely. Here are a few, but the real fun is in being creative with them. Feel free to use these yourself.
1. Don't tell them what you think about the matter. Instead, only ask them questions and act like you are completely ignorant. Most are essentially proposing that they are better than you so make them prove it.
2. "You believe in god? What does your god believe?" I find this one really fun because I always use it to bring up the fact that their god is probably atheist unless there is a god superior to their god. "Why bow down to an inferior god?"
3. "If there was a god with perfect love it would be like he didn't exist. Therefore, it wouldn't matter if you acknowledged him or not. He would love you regardless." This one can get very complex and exciting.
4. "Why don't you just be perfect like god?" They will probably say they weren't born perfect, were born with sin, or something to that effect. "Did god make you that way? Doesn't he like you?"

I don't know exactly what you mean by the question. I'll assume your asking what I believe happens when someone has an experience such as intuition, foresight, or something of that sort.

I believe those sort of things are attributed to the power of thought or electricity. Everything in the universe seeks unity(meditation/magnetism) and division (thought/electricity). I believe that when things come together in such a way it could be considered providence or euphoric that this may be attributed to the fact of a realization of wholeness. I believe this is why inspiration happens. The universe comes together in unity and finds balance, such as what happened before the big bang. Then division comes from the unity like with the big bang, and as you become divided you sort of lose the wholeness and develop a separateness and a sense of self or ego. Then when you find the wholeness you "lose your self."

I guess to sum it up. I believe that in that natural world you cycle between objective unity without awareness because you have nothing outside to compare with so this may be misinterpreted as nothingness. Then separateness with identity because of the ability to compare yourself with something else. Technically you can't identify something unless it is relative to something else, that is why when you have moments of ecstatic completeness where you sort of lose identity, and at others you have a strong sense of identity.

I hope I was clear with my explanations. :D

Sorry, I never really heard those terms before. I wouldn't call myself a science guy though, unless you don't narrow down science people to those who don't appreciate the beauty of life. Some people automatically make that presumption.
