if it weren't for the Daily Show and Bill Maher, and a few others. I would run screaming from the country because they remind me that it's not all hate radio and Fox and that some people still have a sense of humor.
What are these hate radio and fox people thinking? they divide us vehemently and then cry divisiveness on the part of the dems or liberals? wtf?
any thoughts on Michael Savage? He seems pretty levelheaded, articulate and normal, even for a republican  he goes off once in a while like we all do but he actually makes some sense.
ann coulter on the other hand. what a moron. is she for real or doing it for purely the shock value and to exploit a buck or two?

Thats how the ballots are here in california. for any state elections, the ballot doesnt say anything about political party.

I want everyone to know that I really, really want that clip.  So as soon as someone finds a link, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post it. I want to see Jon Stewart rip into some pundits... like really, really bad. I just might touch myself while I watch it.

well this can not be done... do too. why not? almost anything you can conceive of can be achieved. why do parties even matter anymore? is it a fundamental need people have to belong to a group? what good do they do that balances the bad (such as being purposely devisive)? i see more bad than good and maybe even danger. but i do have to do more research... Do away with the electorial college? Are you crazy? Do you want mob rule? With the ellectorial college Kerry almost won last time, with the popular vote he had no chance. Also Abe Lincoln only had 39% of the popular vote. You see back in the day we had more than two parties and two people running for president thus why it was not simply a poularity contest.
If you make it a strict popular vote than you would have regional scapegoating where certain areas could lord over other neglected areas. No thank you. I will keep the electorial college. What we need are less dumb asses voting.
By the way how many of you have ever used public access TV? Almost every American town/city has it. Did you know you can make your own media?
