They said "state of war" was a mistranslation. I think "mistranslation" is too generous., "lied" would be more accurate. Now the US s acting like North Korea is arming its nukes to hit the US. They know all they have to do is say something scary and rational thought goes out the window. Funny none of this shit has been in the Japanese media, and Japan unlike the US is actually in range.

Its nice to hear a bit of common sense, among all the nuclear wars going to break out/bomb them all hysteria.

I can tell you, in the US, the news is not talking about Iran at all anymore.

Maybe this is a way to get out of under Israel's thumb.

I really do think Hagel is serious about his Israel comments.

Nothing has changed in Israel they still colonize the West bank still get 3 billion a year from the US and still got the war they wanted in Syria. The war talk on Iran has always been about keeping the sanctions. Their elections past, Iran kept the same gov it had before, so its off to North Korea. This is Something Dr. Gerson and I said was going to go down way back in January on BFP geopolitics with Ryan Dawson.

That's not exactly eight. McCain would still be Iraq and take the US to Iran. Romney would have also taken the US to Iran. Obama was never going to Iran neither Hagel.

In order for the US to drop nukes, it does have to be approved by both Obama and Hagel.

Work Remains as Nuclear Security Deadline Arrives

Quote:
The Obama administration has had mixed success in realizing the disarmament goals laid out four years ago in an address seen as contributing greatly to the president's subsequent Nobel Peace Prize.

As promised, Washington lowered the national security strategy’s reliance on nuclear weapons and successfully pursued atomic arsenal reductions with Russia. Conversely, the Senate has yet to take up ratification of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and the Conference on Disarmament remains unable to begin negotiations on an international accord to ban production of fissile materials for nuclear weapons.

Phys I didn't say anything about McCain or Romney. I said Hagel jumpng from Iran to North Korea is nothing to get excited about.

McCain would still not be in Iraq either same as Obama, the Iraqis kicked us out themselves.

North Korea urges foreigners to leave South Korea

North Korea on Tuesday urged all foreign companies and tourists in South Korea to evacuate, saying the two countries are on the verge of nuclear war. The new threat appeared to be an attempt to keep the region on edge over its intentions.

Analysts see a direct attack on Seoul as extremely unlikely, and there are no overt signs that North Korea's 1.2 million-strong army is readying for war, let alone a nuclear one. South Korea's military has reported missile movements on North Korea's east coast but nothing pointed toward South Korea.

'If any small incident is caused by miscalculation or misjudgment, it may create an uncontrollable situation.'—Ban Ki-moon, UN secretary general

"The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching close to a thermonuclear war due to the evermore undisguised hostile actions of the United States and the South Korean puppet warmongers and their moves for a war against" the North, said a statement by the North Korean Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, an organization that deals with regional matters.
