Stop calling Higgs boson the "god particle" for one it is not a particle, two it has nothing to do with god in fact it has the very opposite effect. I really hate the media dumbing down and distorting science to sell papers.

Lastly I am not completely sold that this has really been found, because I disagree with the methodology. Explaining why would take too much of my time and put all but a few nerds asleep. My main beef is with this ridiculous term "god particle." Stop the bleeding. Stop the sensationalism. Science is awesome and interesting enough on its own if your not an idiot, and there is no need to constantly try to stir up tension with religions to try to package scientific news ot the masses. It's shameful. God by definition is not a scientific subject. Theology/Mythology is something for sociologist and historians to talk about. Leave fiction out of science.
