Hitting “children” in general is wrong. How old was the kid? Seven year old kids here are getting knocked out, and throwing up in football practise from working out for hours, in full pads ,in 115F heat. Most the kids do it because they want to bond with the team (like military)and even tell the parents if they cant handle watching dont come to practise.
Of course, these kids want to be there. Parents that live through their kids are the ones that should be shot in the head.

In general, Asians and Indians push their children too hard to be perfect, be the best in class, to bring honor to their family, etc etc hence the suicide problem.

Smoking pot is a self-inflicted act sounds very police state. Pot is becoming legal in many states in the US.

Kids hitting each other is one thing for the kid can hit them back and contact sports are contact sports. I played Football too. I dont think anyone on the team tough as they thought they were would take all the pads off and substitute a tackle for punch in the face from a grown man. Humiliation is worse than death in Japan and that is what this guy was doing to him.
