I was thinking the same thing with anti-neocon. There has to be a more positive synonym. We need to all organize and fund all non corporate parties so we can have a better chance of challenging the republicans and democrats. We may have differ on issues, but we all are for peace, the value of individual life, and for the prosperity of small businesses and people.

anti is what protects it from hijacking. You see they can hijack occupy they can hijack tea party but they can not hi jack anti-something without changing the something thus unless they hijack neocon to make it mean something different then they can not hijack anti-neocon.

anti-insane is not "negative" as is being a downer, opposing bad things IS a good thing.

The thing I really hate is that they (as in "them") took regular words and loaded them up with negative meaning, connotations and something the exact opposite. It takes one hell of a brilliant wordsmith to find a way around that. Some words are tainted beyond repair.

I suggest we make a list of words we want to take back with their full and correct meaning. Or the full meaning and invent/attach a word for it, same to me.
One thing is for sure; our language(s) is so screwed up by advertising and media that even the simplest of conversation can be excruciating.

(and in another topic, I'd like to have history and science purified from any form of teaching or religion. Just to plain facts. One day I hope to read about the real history of mankind and not the crazy and hilarious nonsense we call hollywoodified version of it)

Im not writing a list just listen to how I talk on youtube and thats how it should be. I always call a spade a spade.

The two I hate the most are the words Elite and Theory. Stop saying elite those people are not elite they are just rich and they are rich because they use the government to steal for them. Also stop calling a hypothesis a theory look up what the word theory means it is not just some idea. I want to puke every time some idiot says its only a theory too.
