On the day after President Obama became the first sitting president to endorse same sex marriage, Mitt Romney is facing a blistering portrayal as an anti-gay prep school bully.

A story published today by The Washington Post recounted an incident at the prestigious Cranbrook School in Michigan when Romney orchestrated a hazing against a presumed homosexual student.

The student, John Lauber, was tackled and pinned to the ground in 1965 by a group of students led by Romney, who wanted to cut the student's bleached-blond hair (Romney would’ve been 17-18 years old at the time).

Five of Romney’s fellow students separately and independently recalled the incident the same way, including Romney's close friend Matthew Friedemann.

"Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the school’s collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Lauber’s hair,” the Post reported. “Friedemann followed them to a nearby room where they came upon Lauber, tackled him and pinned him to the ground. As Lauber, his eyes filling with tears, screamed for help, Romney repeatedly clipped his hair with a pair of scissors."

Thomas Buford, the wrestling champion who helped Romney restrain the boy, later apologized to Lauber, telling the Post "to this day it still troubles me."

Romney responded to the allegations this afternoon on Your World with Neil Cavuto on Fox News.

“I don’t recall the incident myself but I’ve seen the reports and not going argue with that,” Romney said. “There’s no question that I did some stupid things in high school and, obviously, if I hurt anyone by virtue of that I would be very sorry for it and apologize for it."

this whole thing is gay.

Ron Paul has supported all form of volinteerism gay straight or whatever and thinks the government should butt out of it.

Romeny bullied a guy in highschool who later killed himself so what. Both Romney and Obama advocate torturing people and murdering thousands people and continuing totally pointless military occupaitons. That is far far worse. Romney is gonna have to basically kill some one with his bare hands in order to fail against Obama who even a conviced criminal sitting in jail can nearly beat.

In America, there is a big push to stop bulling kids in school. This is good politically to get it out that Romney was a bully. Just like the dog strapped to the roof of his vehicle story. Its good for Ron Paul too.

I have no doubt Obama will beat Romney with a decisive victory by 10pm on election night. Of course if Ron Paul can pull it out, the republicans will win.

What do you mean Romney will purposely take a dive? Romney wants to president at all cost ever since his daddy lost his bid. Paul could beat both Obama and Romney however the republican establishment will never allow Paul to take the nomination. It should be clear by now with all the voter fraud going on in the primaries, Paul isn't going to get it. They wont allow it. No govt willfully gives up power. Paul will take power away from the federal govt.

Between Romney and Obama like I said before: Obama will beat Romney with a decisive victory by 10pm on election night.

Obamney both work for Goldman Sachs the Obvama's grip on liberals is a lot tigher than Romney's grip on Republicans. Thus they prefer keeping the current Fuhrer

The collective hatred for the republican party is the only binding factor that keeps liberals together. Even die-hard racist supported Obama over McCain.

The GOP goof balls followed the same playbook for defeat they followed in 2008. McCain was viewed as too moderate, (yes, he wanted to "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" and stay in "Iraq for 100yrs if we have to" but still not pro-War enough.

Quote:
But McCain still needs to woo conservative Republicans, who booed him before he spoke at a Washington, D.C., gathering of the Conservative Political Action Committee. Conservatives were never wild over McCain, and that goes back to his battles with George W. Bush in the 2000 primaries, his scathing criticism ("agents of intolerance") aimed at Christian conservative leaders, and his championing of overhauling the campaign finance system.

Sound familiar, or even something out of today's headlines? That's because the primaries have been the same for Romney as they were for McCain. The GOP hasn't embraced Romney because they think he isn't conservative enough or OMFG he is a moderate. Dont forget deep south he is also a part of the cult called Mormonism.

The Republican establishments ignores Paul because he is too socially liberal and way to anti-War for any party to handle while forgetting their "pro-Life" stance when they send thousands more to die.

Republicans have turned into the hypocrite, judgment party, and the killer of liberties under the guise of religion.
