BULLFUCKINGSHIT! I dare any cop to cite the law that authorizes them to lecture anyone. See. Another fine example of a lying scumbag cop. Don't tell me that both of these cops aren't creeps. They're using the oldest cop tactic in the book, playing the good cop bad cop game, solely for the purpose of provoking an incident. The bad cop is the one pushing the envelope by not obeying the law he claims to know by ending the encounter after confirming the absence of probable cause that would warrant any further investigation.
Kudos to Adam for sticking to his "guns." I like to see him do another one where, after giving the information required by law, NOT POLICY. Notice that he gave his first name only and never showed identification (I assume this was in Vermont). Rather, he just asks a few simple questions:
"Am I under arrest?"
If their answer is No,
Am I free to go?
If their answer is No, then
"Am I your prisoner?"
If their answer is Yes, then wash, rinse, repeat ad nauseum.

I live in Texas which means most everyone I know has guns. I support people’s rights to have guns and people’s rights to have concealed weapons. I don’t support people’s right to walk down the road holding a weapon for no apparent reason esp in town. In the country, that’s a different story.

Holding a weapon and carrying a weapon are actually two different things. Holding a weapon is having one in your grasp in a fire ready grip. Carrying, generally used as a legal term, refers to how a handgun is holstered and how a long gun might be borne with a sling. In the video, Adam's AK47 was borne in a sling, muzzle pointed to the ground. I am quite comfortable with both open and concealed carry. I love it when I see free individuals, especially women, carrying a firearm openly, anywhere. Bad guys are the least likely to open carry. So, how would you know who the bad guy is in a space where some have a firearm concealed? I'd like to know that there is someone else around (carrying openly) who besides me would be willing to pop a cap in some bad guy's ass (being borne on his shoulders) should he be stupid enough to show it.
