I used to investigate fraud for an insurance company. We denied claims daily and I made a lot of money.

Cool vid. I am for the universal NON for Profit healthcare or HR 676, and it seems as though the states are free to start exploring the idea of that. It'll be a while before the United States actually adopts it.

Bad example at the end. 1 you do have to buy fire insurance.

And right now insurance is not of the free market model like this guy seems to think. For one, they can't even cross state lines. That limits competition.

As for the water treatment there is a reason so many people buy bottled water. And don't get me started on cops.

If you want a good healthcare system copy Japan. They do the 70-30 split. It's the exact same coverage our own congressmen get.

Meh on the video. Non-profits can't post profits so they just give employees raises they don't earn and buy things they don't need. FULL of embezzlement opportunities.... anyway. And if you want to couple police with the federal government the only place you can really go is the FBI(or military? ATF? etc?) and that's not exactly a stellar example of efficiency.


Here's me beef. I'm not so much against government paying for health care but if the govt is going to cover it at it's current costs then it's ridiculous. Just because the government is paying for something doesn;t mean we shouldn;t try and reduce costs. The ONLY thing that concerns me is cost, which is not dictated by insurance companies but the providers. Insurance wouldn't have to charge so much and deny so many if the care/treatment didn't costs so much. Never fear, though, the free market is one the way!

The medical/pharma/insurance industry is screwed up. The only thing they do is look for ways to make more profit and I guarantee you that by it going more into govt control means there will be more profit for them. Don't even BS yourself.

Govt controlled health care should work like this. You got to the doctor, and if you aren't getting cosmetic treatment, you don't pay anything. The word insurance shouldn't even be in the equation.

But if we are going to be paying money for healthcare every year, the money needs to be returned with interest, or at least come off our income tax with interest. Otherwise the govt will appropriate it however they see fit.

Andy is fucking delusional if he thinks government will solve the Health care problem. Insurance and Medical costs are so high because of government. The dude needs to do research before spewing the puke I just watched.

There are many ways to run a good healthcare system. The US healthcare system itself is sick itself. It should be put to sleep and any reference to it wiped out so to not make the same mistakes again.
Healthcare in the US should start with a clean slate.
