The first source to state gadaffi hired foreign mercenaries was an Israeli source and Israeli sources claimed that he had Jewish relatives which is probably the kind of propaganda which helped fuel 1 in 5 of Libyan rebels saying they were fighting Gadaffi because they think he is a Jewish agent and this I also don't buy. Also taking in to consideration that many of the rebels who are fighting are CIA trained and who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.
