So, when i read this i got all goosebumpy, cuz this is powerful stuff. i could only DREAM of having a clause for independent sovereignty from the current U.S. facade, but, as it turns out, apparently, this is bogus.

Russel Means only represents the Pine Ridge Lakota tribe and not the entire Lakota Nation. He has been considered a radical (imagine that) for a long time. Now, that doesn't mean that he doesn't have a lot of support within the tribes, but the elders are not considering withdrawal from any treaties.
